Preserving Onions 2 Ways - Braiding and Freezing

I love to preserve in multiple ways! This is especially true for onions where not all are good candidates for curing and braiding. This year about half are being stored in my "cold" room (ie my laundry room) and half are going in the freezer. Use the braided ones first and the frozen ones once you run out of those! Braided onions will last about 6-12 months, in the freezer for 12 months or more - use the smell test!
