Great idea! I will probably make 10’ sections and some 5’ sections and also some 45 degree corners so I can make different configurations. Zip tie them together when I set them up. 👍
Ive found the worst urban predators are those adorable little “house” cats. Great ideas for a chicken run! Our girls will be needing one fairly soon so I appreciate your upload. 😎
Don’t glue it! It’s easier to reconfigure if you don’t. The pvc will stay together long enough to zip tie the wire to the frame. That should be stout enough for the use. I have found that as soon as I get the thing assembled, I will have to do some adjusting. Stake it down with some electric fence posts. Nice idea!
Cool idea. I love the width, but I don't like the heigth. I wouldn't want my chickens to nearly crawl through the tunnel. They should be able to stick up their heads to look around.
@@Longeagles im worried about the ones around here they are crazy 1 came up in my house like it was the thing 2 do and I was trying to shoo it out it wouldn't bug it got up in my kitchen table chair I had to kick the chair 2 get it to leave
@@Longeagles Coyotes do roam suburbia. Mostly in late evening, and dawn. They run in, do "Snatch and Grabs, of housecats and small dogs mostly. This will protect your birds from that. If you think there are no predators there, you're wrong. Even roaming dogs will do S & G attacks.

Well said ! Truth Bomb !

How tall is that chicken wire? 5ft? And then wrapped around the pvc with a zip tie? This is great 👍
Does it have a floor?
The bottom is open so they can forage and dig in the dirt
Good video
What is the breed name of your chicken
Pain in the butt. The good part.....will protect them from Hawks and Eagles, coyotes. Can be moved around too.
What about stray cats
Interesting. We have never had an issue with cats. A loose dog once decimated our flock though.

This will not keep out any predator other than maybe birds of prey.
True. It is only to keep our birds contained in our in-town setting where free range is not allowed. No predators here, thank goodness.
It will block "snatch and grabs" by Coyotes, or feral dogs.

Where did you get the pvc fittings for the corners?
Everything came from Home Depot
