I really like your channel because you show us it's o.k. to make mistakes, not to have perfect locs and enjoy the journey. That's why I wanted microlocs and don't want to not enjoy my hair, that's the whole purpose of locs...
Some good advice and valid points made, I’m 7 months in with 182 interlocs started with DIY 2strand twist. My front ends are still curly but rest is loccing up nizzzzze, I really enjoy my hair this way & only use natural oils products. I admit wasn’t easy to get here finding a routine, learning bout my hair with help from RUclipsrs like you has made a big difference. Thank you 😊🇬🇧
Wow your hair is growing out nicely, I’m glad I decided to micro twist my hair back in April. I found a Sisterlocks specialist, who did my reti on June 3, I go back July 21 for my next one. I cannot imagine doing my own reti lol. My only regret is not doing my micro twists sooner, it would’ve save me so much time in the past. I’ve been natural for 20 years, now I’m loving being able to spritz my hair, shake and go!!
Thank you. Im thinking of coming out my shell and finding a good loctician here to do a retie if she let's me record and document it on here for yall! Thanks for watching, please share!
@@MisskiajLocdandloaded Hello. I am considering micro locs I would like to maintain them myself by palm rolling. Are you still palm rolling or doing reties?
Great info & really appreciate your honesty. I started my DIY micro locs install on 5/9/2020 and finished on 6/16/2020. A lot of long nights! I’m only just starting out but since it took nearly 6 weeks, there are some parts already in need of retying, so now working on that. Thanks to you and so many other brave women who are willing to put yourselves out there and help us newbies along during our own process.
Yours I would love to see. Send me a picture on IG or email. Misskiajinc@gmail.com or mommytimewithmisskiaj on IG. I would love to feature ur hair in a upcoming video for diy-ers!
Love it! I put in some (mini braidlocs) for 6-12 months this year depending on my needs because I DEFINITELY needed the break! I think its a good plan to keep up with them and not be TOO lazy lol, microlocs aren't as forgiving to that as big ones are! Great upload 🤗💜

@@ranaleshalle7402 both, I retie about every 6 weeks and then every 3rd I palm roll and sit under the dryer. No problems thus far 👌
@@MisskiajLocdandloaded thank you for getting back so quickly. That would make for a great video (pros/cons of using both techniques) New Subbie
