@@Kado_Tornado The other thing, of course, is that a keyboard is AWFUL for this kind of game. Recently replayed it with my switch controller and it's 10000x easier.
It was so fun to watch this speed through. This game was everything to me from ages 6-10. I wish some gaming company would take this on to do a remake on some platform. It’s so old school but I wish they would keep it that way! Thank you for this video of nostalgia ♥️
I remember when I was 6 I used to stop playing after getting to World 3 due to the screams of the spider lady. I watched this expecting a cartoonish scream, now I remember why I was so scared as a kid damn lol.
Remember playing in early teens but never getting past the first few levels. Heartening to recall a time when basically three dudes could make a video game.
@@pentiummmx2294 yes! I follow step by step directions and they never work for me :(. I would love to play these classic games, there needs to be a more user friendly and simple emulator

I can’t believe I found this game after so long I remember playing this on the computer in pre school and it stuck in my head forever now I have been looking for this game for ages and I finally found the title on Google I’m gonna have to play this game for myself for the nostalgia
Literally same story for me. I'd always ask my siblings if they remembered the game but as time passed they could never answer. Thank God for modern internet haha
Wow! Dude! I played that when I was 9. Ah, memories. Those miss muffets had a dastardly bloodcurling scream, didn't they. Now why did they have to put that in a kids game? And the witches, ... I mean, that's just cruel on the part of the developer. x-( Anyway, thanks for uploading the speedrun. This makes me nostalgic. Good show. :)
It's amazing to think that just 4 years later games Half Life would come out... We went from games like Marathon or doom to something like that in such a short timespan. Thinking back 5 years ago from now all the games are the same. Maybe game development peaked at some point recently.
There is, actually! A programmer named Iliyas Jorio was given special permission by Pangea to use their source code to update the games in order to make them playable on modern software. Iliyas Jorio has already converted the majority of Pangea's library, and I'm coming here to see the current WR after beating the game on my 2020 M1 chip Macbook pro, running OS Big Sur. You can find Iliyas' version online, but Pangea themselves have a direct link to it through their website. Have fun!

Why did the french flag coloured cigarette boxes say "CAPS" on them? Thought it said HABS at first like a diss to the montreal Canadians, but Its not even that so why lol
I didn't realize how annoying this game can be. I guess when I played it when younger I just played it for entertainment, even though it was on a slow Mac and was called Power Pete. Nicely done with almost all gold splits!
I wish I could go back to when I played this the first time. Happy memories.
I've been trying to figure out the name of it for years and now I'm very hurt at how it doesn't compare to modern games😭

I was so bad at this game as a kid but I love the sounds

Exact same thought. I struggled so much and wanted to be good but I was 8.

So much nostalgia. First video game I played on my Mac when I was 7. Still get the music for the game stuck in my head
Awesome! I remember all sounds in this game :D
Amazing what the brain remembers, or the soul, if you truly love something :)
Unga bunga!
That's exactly what triggered my memories...the sound fx and music. I also remember the graphics being awesome...
I never got past the Funhouse as a kid. After seeing this run, I know why. It's a goddamn maze!
I love how the best weapon in the game is cake
That cake tho
That second level in the Magic Funhouse MAKES ME WANT TO DIE. I spent an hour trying to find the last two bunnies!
The worst level in the game!!
i remember finding a demo of this on a mario teaches typing cd on my iMac
