I have loved horses since I was about 3 yrs old. I got my first large pony when I was 10 yrs old. I am now 59 and I still have a horse in my life. It is a passion I never out grew. The horse I gave now is a rescue of the track thoroughbred. I adopted him when he was 3 yrs old and he is now 17. He will probably be my last but praying he will be in my life for many more years🐴

When I first started lessons/disciplined riding..my instructor taught me bareback first. I'm glad she did, because it teaches good balance while bonding with the horse. It works every muscle in your body too.

Seeing you experiencing your first riding lesson brought back happy memories. I had a girlfriend in England many years ago, she was a regular rider and persuaded me to try it. Just climbing up to the saddle was first major problem. I never imagined I could lift my foot to the stirrup. Girls are more flexible than boys and you are much fitter than I was at that time. You have good deportment, is that a word used in US? You sat with your back straight, not slumped forward. I wish you luck with your riding. I wish I had this stable as a kid! So fantastic! I'm an ex rider but this is wonderfully taught. I was dragged and lost my facial skin at my riding school & none of them had this gentle level. All kids need to learn to ride

Yes they like apples. There were some horses right next to the golf course I worked at. We would bring apples from our tree at home to feed them. Karolina is a quick study. Just like the way she learns her songs just by listening. She excels in everything she does. Such a joy seeing her smile and enjoy life.

Seeing other people learn how to ride a horse brings me pride and joy. Especially when it’s someone from the city. I’m from the country and have only been on a horse 2 or 3 times but I am very passionate about riding. Only once was I on a lead but it was magical. The other time it was the in that really interesting Colorado rock area that has the kissing camels (Garden of The Gods). I was super excited because I got the white horse I wanted. Every time I have been riding except once (if I have been riding 3 times) the horse was white. My neighbor used to have a horse named Jazz, he sadly passed away a few months ago though. I never got on him, but I loved him, the donkeys Pete and Oatey, the chickens, the dogs Ellie, Candy, Marley, Einstein (rest in peace), and her two other dogs I didn’t know the names of (also Rest In Peace). Oh my gosh she looks very natural! I’ve been riding for a while now and she looks extremely good! Her posture is great and her heels are dropped down, I haven’t been able to ride since I broke my wrist. I’m almost healed so I can ride but it’s kinda low key but it always feel like your flying ❤️

I started out riding horses at 4 years old. Started with a pony and then moved on up to horses as I grew up. I've Loved horses all my life. I ended up going into competition showing Arabian horses and loved it! I can see how this girl is happy and I know the feeling so well!
I like this trainer, it’s been three years sense I rode and the environment feels intimidating to me now but she made me a lot more comfortable to dabble back into it
When I had my first riding lesson it all went great. So great that we did a trot. Most people don't do a trot on their first lesson! I was told I was a natural!

As a English riding instructor and show jumper and former student of a US Olympic Equestrian Team Member and was in Training for FEI World Cup. There are things here that annoying me about western instructors ways. She was giving praise as Karolina was doing well which is great but if you have never ridden before you should have lesson on ground manners before even getting on a horse back she just here get on this was more of a unassisted pony ride then a real lesson. When I started riding I spent a month working on ground work and grooming learning tack and how to take apart and clean tack and put back together an lunging building a relationship with the horse before I was even put on horse back then spent another month riding bareback to learn balance and proper seat then moved on to trotting then cantering then Jumping. I know Karolina is going to be doing any show jumping but she should have been started at the levels and worked up for what I learned in the past set me up to do Liberty Horsemanship and Do Monty Roberts Level Natural Horsemanship and training and I have been riding and doing all this for over 15 years and been given great opportunity to work with USEF Coaches in Dressage and Hunter Jumper and Stadium Jumping.

Great instructor doing round pen work before she gets on the horse. I always did that growing up to give the horse a chance to kick up its' heals without anyone riding it first.
You should put the address of the ranch. I started riding horses once I moved here to Hungary, but the ranch you're at is exceptionally clean and big, with exceptional opportunities.

I know this was a very very very long time ago video but for any in 2024 watching and want to do horse riding. Don’t do what she did when she stopped the horse, she kept pulling back on the reins after the horse was already stopped which may have caused the horse discomfort. After the horse has stopped don’t keep pulling the reins back instead let them rest and just put them back to normal.
Okay let's be honest here..... YOU ARE A NATURAL OMG. Your heels are down on your FIRST lesson and that is something people struggle with. Idk if you need your heels down for western but for English you do and I'm really impressed with your skill. Everything looks great! I'm also a equestrian myself lol!

Every time I have been riding except once (if I have been riding 3 times) the horse was white. My neighbor used to have a horse named Jazz, he sadly passed away a few months ago though. I never got on him, but I loved him, the donkeys Pete and Oatey, the chickens, the dogs Ellie, Candy, Marley, Einstein (rest in peace), and her two other dogs I didn’t know the names of (also Rest In Peace). Oh my gosh she looks very natural! I’ve been riding for a while now and she looks extremely good! Her posture is great and her heels are dropped down, I haven’t been able to ride since I broke my wrist. I’m almost healed so I can ride but it’s kinda low key but it always feel like your flying ❤️
Omg! I also got my horse for a low price..she was about $20 because her previous owners were not able to afford to take care of her😢she was vey slim and scared when I got her..but now she’s the most happy girl ever! ❤

I started out riding horses at 4 years old. Started with a pony and then moved on up to horses as I grew up. I've Loved horses all my life. I ended up going into competition showing Arabian horses and loved it! I can see how this girl is happy and I know the feeling so well!

I like this trainer, it’s been three years sense I rode and the environment feels intimidating to me now but she made me a lot more comfortable to dabble back into it
When I had my first riding lesson it all went great. So great that we did a trot. Most people don't do a trot on their first lesson! I was told I was a natural!

As a English riding instructor and show jumper and former student of a US Olympic Equestrian Team Member and was in Training for FEI World Cup. There are things here that annoying me about western instructors ways. She was giving praise as Karolina was doing well which is great but if you have never ridden before you should have lesson on ground manners before even getting on a horse back she just here get on this was more of a unassisted pony ride then a real lesson. When I started riding I spent a month working on ground work and grooming learning tack and how to take apart and clean tack and put back together an lunging building a relationship with the horse before I was even put on horse back then spent another month riding bareback to learn balance and proper seat then moved on to trotting then cantering then Jumping. I know Karolina is going to be doing any show jumping but she should have been started at the levels and worked up for what I learned in the past set me up to do Liberty Horsemanship and Do Monty Roberts Level Natural Horsemanship and training and I have been riding and doing all this for over 15 years and been given great opportunity to work with USEF Coaches in Dressage and Hunter Jumper and Stadium Jumping.

Great instructor doing round pen work before she gets on the horse. I always did that growing up to give the horse a chance to kick up its' heals without anyone riding it first.
She is a natural the coach is amazing and she is a good sport! When I started riding I was not as good as her!

I’ve been riding for 14 years (I’m 15) my first time riding was April 13th , MY POINT IS YOURE A NATURE TALENT!
I know this was a very very very long time ago video but for any in 2024 watching and want to do horse riding. Don’t do what she did when she stopped the horse, she kept pulling back on the reins after the horse was already stopped which may have caused the horse discomfort. After the horse has stopped don’t keep pulling the reins back instead let them rest and just put them back to normal.

Okay let's be honest here..... YOU ARE A NATURAL OMG. Your heels are down on your FIRST lesson and that is something people struggle with. Idk if you need your heels down for western but for English you do and I'm really impressed with your skill. Everything looks great! I'm also a equestrian myself lol!
