  • This baking recipe is very easy to make and simple to follow. I love this recipe because it does not require too much wait of raising the dough. My family loves this sweetbread and it contents no so much sugar. I hope you are going to find it fun baking this recipe and enjoy!
    COCOS CROISSANT
    1 pack or 14 grams standard dry yeast for sweetbread
    150 grams butter
    3 deciliter milk
    1 deciliter sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 egg
    around 1.1 liter breadflour
    Filling:
    50 grams softened butter
    1/2 deciliter desiccated coconut
    4 tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
    *Let's activate the dry yeast first. In a small bowl with warm water like 1/2 deciliter , add little amount of sugar and yeast. Give it to stir. After a couple of minute it will start to look cloudy and a foam on top.
    *Meanwhile, melt the butter. Add milk and warm it until it reaches 37 degrees celcius
    *Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix it until well-combined. It should be a little bit sticky consitency. Leave it to raise for 30 minutes.
    *Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Combine butter, desiccated coconut, sugar and cinnamon powder until smooth.
    *Knead the dough smoothly on the working bench with the rest of the flour. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
    *Roll out each piece into a flat circle around 30 cm in diameter. Cut them into 12 triangles.
    *Place the filling on the widest part. Roll up into croissants.
    *Place them on a baking pan with parchment paper and let them raise again for 30 minutes .
    *Preheat the oven into 220 degrees Celsius meanwhile.
    *Brush with beaten egg.
    *Bake them in the middle of the oven for 6-8 minutes.
