It's a little Pee Vee, and they sure are handy. I see the top of yours is pretty messed up too. I tried buying a bigger one the thing broke on me within a few days. ( Super soft metal, plus because it was bigger I was hitting it with my hammer close to the hing instead of at the top where you're supposed to hit it.) This size seems to work best. I've had mine for about 5 years now. Love it!
I have an old Bostich n80c nailer, got it 30ish years ago, and it’s still going strong. Because a box on nails takes up so much room in storage with the different sizes, electro galvanized and regular, i only buy the electro galvanized nails. Nailed my deck top with it 27 years ago and they’re still holding.
Bro i totally feel you with the saw dust. Sometimes I will have to fold my jeans because some are longer than others , i like to work in comfort rather than everything be tight. But anyways , anytime I cup my pants it will be filled with saw dust and my boot as well. The things we have to deal with..
100% correct about the nail thickness. I use 3 1/2-Inch x .131-Inch for framing in my DCN692 and I've yet to be let down. Also, I chose the DCS578 as I've never used a worm-drive. It throws the sawdust up, so, not much better than the foot, but it does suck if I am cutting on a bench as it throws it right into my stomach and chest. Also highly recommend Diablo's ultimate framing/demolition saw blade.
I have a couple of these saws. They all have several layers of tuck tape closing up that silly little dust hole. Simple fix. Bonus points if you use yellow duck tape.
I bought the rear handle Milwaukee a few months back. Its a beast. I do a ton of framing and I don’t even carry a corded circ saw with me anymore. On the Milwaukee it also spits the sawdust out in the same spot and it drives me nuts. Mounds of it in my tool belt
Great info .respect on the videos. I use metal bridging to strap my walls before standing them and use my claw hammer to roll the strap and pull wall in

As someone that has worked for both I will say there's pros to both. When things like work stoppage strikes happen it's a one for all, all for one mentality so that can be frustrating but on the other hand when my family and I go to the dentist and leave with no bill because of the excellent benefit package that is not something to be taken lightly. I organize the strip all facing one way and load as many in my pouch as possible. Now my motivation is to get light asap lol
@@framingbeast720 we have a 16 ft truss boom for ours that helps a lot. One more question. Is there I big weight difference in the nailers when loaded down with nails
@@travismassengale3743 yeah with a full coil it is heavier but down half 3/4 you either quit noticing or it is getting close to the same weight, the benefit is not carrying a bag of strips of nails.
