If you read some of the testimonies of the women who are in this beading program they almost all say something along the lines of, "Being employed through Amazima Ministries making jewelry has allowed me to pay school fees for my children, buy land, and build a home." Plus, since Amazima bumps up the price of the jewelry (kind of like the government does with taxes) when people buy it online all of those profits fund the Masese feeding program for over 1200 students to have two meals a day five days a week.
I love this! How much of the proceeds from the jewelry goes to the women who make it?
That's fantastic!!
