Just traded my steam deck lcd 512gb model for a 3060 12gb and so far I have no regrets considering I paid $100 for my steam deck(from a family member hence why I got it for so cheap) and barely used it anymore
My son had a Gainward Ghost RTX 3060 12GB and it was a good card. Of course it depends on the price as well, £250 is about right. You could probably get a 3070 for £300 second hand and that’s a massive difference mind…(That’s what I bought him after the 3060).

It should be fine, bro. And if it makes you feel better, every system will always have a bottleneck whether it be CPU or GPU. It just depends on how much money you want to dump on it to make the performance acceptable for your standards 😉
i got a prebuilt desktop on new years day(before the shops closed because i wanted to game in the new year)...rtx3060 12gb i5 12400f 16gb 3200mhz win 11 500gb nvme and where i live this medion erazer was priced at around 850 usd(so not super cheap,but the cheapest that was available and rtx4060 8gb version was 500usd higer(closer to 445-450usd w the value of usd vs skr at the time) So was it worth it?? YES it sure was What did i game on before? The most popular gpu on steam GTX1650 Do i feel it holds up still after 5+ months? Yes all games run from good to great But w a better cpu like the i7 12700f it will probably get a little more fps in most games(cpu intensive games)...But is it worth it? mayby n depending on price i guess So is the rtx3060 12gb a good gpu for us budget gamers w a thin wallet?? Yes i think so and if u want a rtx 4060 16gb its still(where i live) around 200usd higher priced and at this price it would be better to save up a little more and buy a rtx4070 12gb instead(this is my feeling about the prices,dont know what they are outside scandinavia,but here its extremly expensive for a 16gb rtx4060 gpu and not worth it at all
@@kanni2959if you care about dlss and ray tracing, Go for 3060 like I did. if not, 6650xt will give your more performance and fps which will be good for competitive gaming but if you are a single player gamer, 3060 has more features.

If you like to play with Ray Tracing (even lower settings), RTX 3060 12GB would be the way to go, as it does require more VRAM demand.

if ure on b450 board rx 6600 works on PCIE 4.0 x8 so you might be bottlenecked a bit by having 16x PCI lane. RTX 3060 has 16

It will work just fine. You might run into CPU bottleneck on certain heavier competitive games like Warzone.

It depends on your use case. If your use case would be any of the competitive games we've showcased, then you probably would find the answer there.
4060 for non vram limited situations, but it should be cheaper and should have been a 4050. 4060ti should have been the 4060
