The RH1 is about 4 years old now, I wonder what Sony could achieve if they went back and refined that unit even more, with the attention on retaining or even improving it's current sound quality. Or even better, retained all but the MD drive itself, replacing it with SD card and/or MemoryStick slots. The problem at this time is that none of their latest Walkman units can record.
So what you are trying to tell me is that the Sony hi MD Player I am getting in the mail hopefully today can be used as a flash drive? That's awesome! I can use it in school and not get in trouble. Tell me, when you format an 80 minute disc or a 72 minute disc, can you put CD Quality music on it?
Hey man, I have another question. I finally got this thing with my MD PLayer worked out, and I was wondering if I'm able to record in real time, should the need arise, like if I was recording from a cassette tape?
How would this device fair in recording a live concert? Is there a newer model than this and a Mic from sony I can buy too? *HYPOTHETICALLY* ofcourse, I want something I could go to a concert with a few thousand people in, and get a pretty decent bootleg and not a whole shitload of bass like convential means of recording (phone, camera) People put personal HQ bootlegs of mp3's up on the net all the time and I'm stuck finding out what kind of equipment they use for such a thing. Thanks!

I loved MD and HiMD, but gave up on them as the units were too expensive and all the good players were only released outside of the U.S.
Veo temas de Grandia II por ahi. Otro nostalgico como yo (?)

The only thing it cant do is transfer live recording from MD player to PC... Now why not!!
