Me too! I recognised the song when playing xvi and finally found it, i was fighting ultima and thinking "hell! This is from an old FF i know !"

This piece actually played in FF16. I despise the game but it really put a smile on my face when this played.

I recommend that you play Thunder Force IV, the game is as good as its soundtrack. Probably the best shmup of the 16-bit era!

@@colerend4431 Okay, sure. See, any creative content you create is your intellectual property. Could be a book, a movie, a song, a drawing on a napkin, whatever. The only people who have the right to copy it are people you explicitly give permission to. If someone copies your work without your permission, that is a violation of copyright. This is a matter of law because otherwise anything you create could be stolen by someone else who could use it to become more successful at your expense. There are some small exceptions to this. Sometimes it makes sense to use snippets of someone's work to illustrate a point. If you do a review of Star Wars, you can use clips of it so people have context for what you're saying. If you are teaching people about art, you can show pictures of that art to illustrate your points. This is what is called fair use. Just putting an entire movie on RUclips is not fair use. Now, just putting your favourite music track on a RUclips channel probably isn't going to bother anyone so probably no one's going to make you take it down. But the original creator can have it taken down if they want to. Writing "this is fair use" on it doesn't just automatically make it fair use, in the same way that killing someone and putting a note on their body saying "no murder intended" doesn't create a legal loophole that lets you get away with it. Doesn't that mean that the creators of that music can't copyright claim it? Tecnosoft shouldn't be the owner of all media created for this game? When a company doesn't release the soundtrack without in game noises does that mean people can only hear the music when playing the game? Yes the Sega cd and even the Sega saturn version are better than the psx anyone who disagrees is just nostalgic and tone deaf and like badly compressed inferior music
