What is impressive is those guns that doesn't requires bullets, doesn't jam, and allow rapid firing.
They sometimes show her reloading but not nearly enough for how many bullets she fires.
And also there are werewolves and vampire's and stuff... Pretty weird for a movie..

Yeah, the bit with Amelia was a let down, especially when in the 2nd movie we find out she was actually a formidable warrior. I think when they were making the 1st movie, they haven't yet decided she was a warrior, so treated her more like a politician type vampire, it seems.
Clearly Lucian had went insane over the centuries victimizing innocent descendants of the Corvinus blood line in his quest to recreate his murdered child by Viktor's hand.
Any father would go mad if they lose one of their children but for Lucian he lost both his wife and unborn child killed in front of him while he was powerless to save them both.
Remember Lucian lost both his lover and son infront of him
Michael sheen is amazing in this movie, he's scary as hell when the lift door opens,I would run a mile!🐺,but then again carnt outrun a lycan., hopefully he would bite me.
I like how she uses bullets to make a hole, instead of just using her vampire strength to make a hole.
Either vampires aren't supernaturally strong in Underworld, or Selene isnt the sharpest tool in the shed.
Or the director just thought it would be a cool scene to have her shoot around herself enough to make a hole in the floor.

@@superdarklink True it probably would've been cooler to see her pull apart the elevator doors and jump down on top of the descending elevator. On another note the fourth Underworld movie does an even more ridiculous scene with Selena shooting a hole into something with her guns.
I thought that was intentional because it seems like most vampires aren't that much stronger than humans. Like, the only vampires who do anything impressive are elders with a viral strand close to the original Corvinus virus. Even Kraven seemed like a pushover and he was older than Selene. And Selene didn't start doing anything real crazy until she drank the original Corvinus blood.

No. Michael is a descendant of one Alexander Corvinus’ son (two twins Marcus and William that inherited the trait in its active form and one inherited it in its dormant form remained human). The trait in its dormant form allows a blending of the species on a cellular level while still being human. The trait in its dormant form has to be activated by the Lycan virus or the Vampire virus. That’s why Lucian had to bite Michael and so did Selene. In its active form, the trait made them Immortal which Marcus and William were until they got bitten by a wolf and a bat then the trait mutated into vampires and werewolves.

The strongest is Alexander Corvinus, the first immortal, but we’ve never seen him fighting, so it’s his sons, Marcus and William, the first of their species.
