great video!! are you going to be doing a video on how to setup the extra menu system for your games like in some of your previous videos...ie. like the menu system setup for multiple ways to play certain games with certain gamepad or joystick setup. pls let me know.. I will be keeping an eye out for it and thanks
I'll note it! In general, under tools - emulators in launchbox, you add your emulators. Configure multiple copies of retroarch, each folder being specific to what you're doing, xinput, dinput, 6button, some wacky unique controller, etc. Each emulator you add in launchbox will appear when you associate a section to it, like Super Nintendo. So if you have a xinput and a dinput retroarch folder, associate both to SNES, you'll have 2 "Launch With" sections to chose from. Then same logic applies to any additional emulator, multiple configured folder copies of the same emulator.
Although I suppose to add to this, certain emulators that have DLC installed like PS3, XB360 mostly...will use symlinks and junctions to all point to one centralized installed folder of content. I would then use my file swap script to delete and place a configuration specific to a controller in the emulator prior to launch. I think things like xb360 dlc is like 4tb of content itself, along with PS3 being about the same, so using symlinks is needed.
Trying to find ways! A lot of the setup is pretty bespoke, so while you might be able to yoink out sections, it really only comes together as a whole when you think about the multiple monitors and media. That and I'm not exactly a teacher or youtuber lol, just thought this was super neat 😄

Hey. Your build is fantastic. Would you be able to share your config files, theme and settings?
