It really looks like he will be free, even if they ask for a retrial which would be unnecessary cause the outcome would be the same. Then again taxpayers and some individuals will have to pay kartel a lot of money. But we have to consider it can get political and for that reason they might keep him in jail.
You know still the government can blackmail him that he gets his freedom easily and forget about compensation and I bet he'll choose freedom and forget about suing the government
I don't know what your are looking at, but in my humble opinion. He will not be free any time soon. Unless he didn't have the phone conversation about the act before or after the fact. Reduced sentence, possibly, free no. Misconduct in the case does not mean the act didn't happen.

@@DailyScripturesMotivation look justice must not only be done, but it must seem to be done. Sometimes it's not if the person is guilty or not, you have thing call technicality and those judges dont come to a conclusion unless they are sure that the verdict is unbiased and fair.

Adijah 'Vybz Karte' Palmer and Shawn Storm is guilty and should remain in prison for the rest of his life. They murdered Clive 'Lizard' Williams and on top of it they severed his limbs and fed it to their dogs. How cruel and gruesome is that. A person of that nature should not be allowed to be amongst the Jamaican public.

This case is not about whether he is guilty or not. It is about how his case was conducted. His team is saying there was a breach. On that, the council might say yes! Does that free him? Maybe. We need to see the rulings. But, Mr Palmer is guilty. We might see a guilty man goes free. Gotta be careful when conducting ALL trials.

At this point no one cares if they killed the man or not , it’s what happened in the crown’s case leading up to them getting a guilty verdict and their collection of evidence / keeping the evidence in the right custody/ who was authorised to collect evidence and going forward with the trial with a corrupt juror/ jury knowingly, and to put icing on their already messed up case to show the world they carried out a miscarriage of justice, they arrested / charged and convicted the person for attempting to perverse the course of justice, so they have no case / no legs to stand on

How can you bring an amendment of the charter of jamaica to the privy council your highest court.
