    Aye , bit of a daunting experience racing there , I was lucky I didn't go quic enough too hurt myself .

    Horrible track and fence ,, I only ever went there once and saw Tony Sanford loose his life on that poxy fence in exactly the same spot , ironically it was the first race in the second half as Tony had been dropped from the main team and I guess he was keen to get back in the side

      I rode it fantastic track, dont believe the hype, would Mauger Wigg Loram gone as there home track ?

      Not believing any hype , just the one experience of going there for one meeting , because of the banking it was a strange way the riders seemed to lock into a grove like in ice speedway almost , as allways the banking doesn’t really show on tv , tbh found it fairly processional and boring with the awful thought of what could and did happen in front of my eyes with that horrible steel fence that would never be allowed today .

      ​@garyquinn7585 It was a few years before I was born, but my understanding was that he cleared the fence, so it wasn't the fence that got him. Is that not correct?
