Lacock here in Wiltshire is a historical village dating back to before the Domsday book of 1066, however the oldest buildings still standing in Lacock do date back to the 1200’s inc Lacock Abbey .
Lacock also has one of the oldest Pubs in England called the George Inn & dates back to 1361 .
Lacock is the birthplace of Photography by a man called Fox Talbot.
Fox Talbot invented the Negative which produced the photograph back in 1835 in Lacock Abbey.
You will so much more in lovely video inc. one of the smallest Jails in the world built in the 1700’s
