The proper term for this would be “Billet” lightsaber. Integral implies it is functioning whatsoever like a real lightsaber, similar to the Hacksmith’s functioning saber. These are not really anything new just because you milled it out of a single chunk
@@blacklangster1141 I appreciate your comment, but I fundamentally disagree with you. The term integral applies to the lightsaber in the video because its frame is one solid piece (billet). If the Lightsaber was entirely made of one solid piece of material, then its title should be billet lightsaber. The word integral does translate to completely functional lightsaber like the one you are referring to. Integral in a machined item means that its frame is one solid piece “billet” :)
@@RobertMoonWalkerregardless of the definition of the word, this lightsaber being made from one solid piece of metal isn't something new.
Your title is misleading, and there are plenty of pre-existing sabers machined from a single piece of material.

Does it retractable?
Welcome to the SaberSmiths world. There are hundrids of us all across the world. I recomend you learn how to solder and fully put togeather the electronics. BTW ur not the first one to custom machine/make lightsabers there are people like Davinium Customs that do 24hr builds where they do all the electronic work and custom design and machien sabers in a span of 24 hrs.
@@Io_aims I checked out Davinium Customs and they make some really amazing sabers! My hilt is still unique because it is an Integral. I agree that I should dabble in the world of putting together the electronics. Thank you for your comment.
