Like you I like the moderate weather, but it's a individual taste matter when it comes to living here, the grey skies can wear on a person for sure, but for me better then extreme cold,extreme heat.
Mid-latitude cyclones could be a significant weather threat in the winters. The last major one was the 2006 Hanukkah Eve windstorm where 1.6 million people lost power.

You didn't mention flooding. Flooding happens a lot in the Snoqualmie valley and other places.

We do have natural disasters in Seattle, and their season just ended last Sunday.
