There was a Godzilla anime called Godzilla singular point. But that show was filled to the brim with Techno babble that I felt I needed a college education in math and science to understand.
Firebreather's animation style reminds me of Transformers Prime, a show I am such a big fan of, which coincidently, the 5-episode pilot, Darkness Rising came out the exact same year.
I remember seeing ads for this leading up to the premiere. Also, fun fact in regard to Image Comics. One of the Sonic Super Specials from the Archie comics days (And I mean the original run before Ken Penders forced it into being rebooted) had a bunch of Image Comics characters in it. While being a "Backdoor pilot" as Linkara put it for Ken Penders The Lost Ones. Which ended up only getting a single issue.

I remember this movie airing on Cartoon Network back in the day. I only saw snippets of it now and then, but not the whole thing. And honestly, I'm kinda glad it never became an animated series. I was never really into cgi cartoons like this back then.
