Hi Saifullah, it all depends on your preferred use of the camera. For sports and action photos the 1D X is unrivaled, it performs best when taking these kinds of photos. The 5D Mark IV is the best in combination with wide angle lenses to take some great landscape photos.

Hi, if you are shooting in 4k or 1080p the files will be huge, we do not know about the compatibility with the MacBookpro, as we are using windows with that camera. All the files can be transferred to an external hard disc first if that is easier for you. The camera can record up to three minutes of 4K footage at a time, and up to 29mins and 59secs of Full HD footage, and you cannot pause a video. One hour of 1080p video can take up to 20gb.
When shooting movies (4k_FHD) other than high frame rate movies the maximum recording time of one movie clip is 29 min. 59 sec. When shooting high frame rate movies (FHD_119.9 fps. or 100.0 fps.) the maximum recording time of one movie clip is 7 min. 29 sec.
Is it possible to transfer from the 1DX mk2 via GIGABIT Ethernet directly to a laptop. Does the Wifi module support 802.11ac (Gigabit ~128MByte/s). Does the Cam support FTP via an 802.11ac wifi access point (LTE Router for instance) transfer to laptop, prior sending it to an agency?

I have shot video in HD on my 1dx mark ii and it plays just fine on my Mac computer but when I shoot in any of the 4k settings it plays back on my computer horribly. It skips and is jumpy. My main reason for shooting in 4k is so that I can do a still frame grab from the videos. Do you know why the 4k video will not play back properly on my computer? Any suggestions on how to fix this? The 1DX mark ii uses an outdated and clunky codec called motion jpeg when recording in 4K. It results in massive file sizes and your computer may not be powerful enough to handle them, resulting in poor playback.
Yeah, mjpeg is silly. Dual Xeon processors and m.2 ssd doesn't make a difference- video still stutters and freezes, but audio continues to play. You have to encode the video first. An extra step to my workflow when I record on the 1dx2
Wow.. just the other day I shot 1437 shots, mostly NOT using live view, but did take, about 10 minutes with it on... And, I still had at least half the battery left. So, not sure how he got just over 1000 shots...
Yes, that's true because typically that information isn't "baked" into the raw file. I believe that the In-camera lens corrections are also only applied to the .jpeg files. Besides that I am not sure what else you are limited to but it's worth checking out. Take care.

Hi, Serge Letunovskiy! The 1dx does not output 4k video through the HDMI. It can only record 4k 60p internally to the cfast card.

Hi, you can try to assign some of the buttons on the front for video, please check the options for that.
can I shoot 120fps with the Compact flash card? Or it´s on the CFAST 2.0 too?

Both of them are intraframe but it is not possible to do the sensor zoom on it.

You will need a WFT-E8 or WFT-E6 wireless transmitter, then you can connect your camera to your phone.
Some settings are only applicable to JPEG and not RAW. Is there a listing of those settings?
