Beautiful apartment! I can't wait to see it all decorated. If the balcony railing is sturdy, you could hang planter boxes over the side for fresh herbs/flowers.
Congratulations on your new place, it’s fabulous! No mold! You can get the bed frames that the bed actually lifts up and the entire underneath part is storage, so that’s an option for additional storage. And you have parking, amazing.🎉
Beautiful space! Can't wait to see how you decorate. May I just say, you are a breath of fresh air! You are so positive and appreciative. I wish you both the best. Please keep us posted.
The apartment looks lovely, can't wait to see how you decorate it. Also curious about the triple stovetop/oven/dishwasher (never heard of one before), would love an update about how it works for you (pros/cons) when you've had a chance to test it
So excited to see the improvements and changes y’all make! I think you should just do the wardrobe system, your bed, and two nightstands in the bedroom and then have a little desk area in the living room. I feel like that will be so much more comfortable bc the desk in there might get really cramped (and there’s a lot more room in the living room). You could even just put some chairs on the island that connects the kitchen and living area and have the bar area be the office! Just some ideas 😊
Lovely space!! So excited for you. Picking a space that optimizes the bathroom and kitchen is such a good choice. Can’t wait to see all the decor. Would love to go along with you via vlog to typical French furniture stores or home stores to see what kind of things you can buy there, and what the stores are like! Thanks for sharing!!
You need to get a storage bed - one that lifts up, so you will have loads of storage under the mattress. Or one with ample drawers under the bed. Lovely apartment!!
Oh my stars! What a great apartment. And I’ve never seen a combo stove, oven, and dishwasher. That’s a luxury. I hope the two of you love it there. Thank you for sharing with us.
Congratulations! What a lovely apartment. By Paris standards and all the other places you viewed previously, this is excellent!!!Looking forward to how you will set it all up!!!!Thank you for sharing Ariel.
What an adorable apt. Hope you have an elevator. Nice that no one is above you. Love the balcony. You did such a cute job decorating this last place I'm sure this one will be also. Congratulations
absolutely love your apartment. I think you are very fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for you and Jon!! very excited to see how you will decorate. Also, I absolutely love your dress. 💕
Congrats. Looks amazing. Perhaps a tall secretary in the living room nook. They are narrow, and you can close it up when done with no mess visible! A hydraulic bed or bed with drawers may be useful. Have fun decorating! So exciting!
Lovely❤ Maybe consider placing your desk in the living room, creating a little office corner, so you’ll have a little more space freed up in the bedroom😊.
Congrats to you both!💐Nicely finished and well worth holding out for. Enjoy. Have you considered a garment rack on wheels for the bedroom? They're pretty tall - hold up long flowy things - and come with inbuilt shoe racks. Also, one space that might fit a small computer desk with chair pushed in after use, is the storage cavern in the hall. But that would involve a compromise.
Yes we thought of that 🥲🥲🥲 but I want sunlight while I work and I don’t want the desk in the « communal areas »… we kind of want the living room be to for relaxing and not remind us of work 😂 nice garment rack tip !!!!
I can't wait to see how you decorate it. Measure it out but you may want to place the desk in the main area. The little niche in the back looks ideal and I think you could still fit your table and chairs there. The bed will take a lot of the space in the bedroom so storage will be important for what you have left. It also looks like you have a radiator in the front closet so while coats, particularly in the winter, will probably be okay there dresses may be not be.
Great place. How about a loft bed and under you can do a closet space or your desk? Might give more much needed space for what needs to happen in your bedroom.
Love the apartment! Congratulations! I would definitely try to put the desk on the living room instead of the bedroom, because I don’t think the bedroom can fit all that furniture haha i think it can be nice to set up an office space in the great room!
Love following your journey! Can I just ask if you could hold the camera up more when filming. Vloggers tend to walk around with the camera pointing to the floor which from our perspective is a bit frustrating. I don’t mean to offend. Cheers
Thank you! I am a retired American educator. We helped a new school open in Lviv, then spent 6 weeks in Ktakow; we're in Tallinn for a month before heading back to Oregon. My wife and I hope to visit France after the Olympics. We plan to sell our Portland condo, invest in CDs, and then move to France. We will rent so we can travel in Europe. There are several significant advantages to living in France: climate, healthcare, culture, and infrastructure. Thanks again! Dean and Cindy.
The apartment looks beautiful. Alexandra Gater has some great videos on RUclips and she specializes in decorating spaces. It looks like you might have similar taste, too. Best wishes!
What arrondisement? And $1500 sounds surprisingly reasonable. I could live there for a long time, if it had an elevator. Bonus- parking! Debby in Kansas
People 450 Sq feet in NYC is about $3, 000 or more depending on the neighborhood. , your apt is a bargain !! very nice . My pet peeve is the small refrigerators in Europe
Why don’t you do the bedroom your walk in closet and set up the leaving room very well as a sleeping and resting place during the night and a welcoming area during the day? Just a suggestion
Well it looks a lot better than the prison cell studio apartment I used to rent for 2500 a month in Sydney. The beaches maybe nice for a few months a year but it's more expensive than Paris to live here :)
@@NonStopParis ok that's not what I'd necessarily call expensive....it's the average price for an apartment in Sydney city...not the suburbs. However it is a smaller....and I suppose it depends on the arondissmant.
I don't know where you are in Paris but it is actually a really cheap rent! Is it really in Paris or more in the suburbs? Do keep in mind that living on the last floor means your insurance will be more expensive. Insurance companies don't really like admitting it.
I understand the two separated parts of a bathroom. However, the idea of getting up in the night and walking to the opposite side of the apartment to use the bathroom is beyond my comprehension. The one good thing though is that you at least have a sink in your toilet. I see so many European bathrooms with a toilet and no sink. I don’t know how they expect you to clean your hands when you have to walk across your entire apartment to find a water source. I would find that very frustrating. Congratulations to you both on your new place and I look forward to seeing you decorate it!
Hello, just to reply to your comment about the bathroom. I'm French and I hate it when the toilets are in the bathroom. It gives more privacy when it is separated: when you have guests for ex (can you imagine people constantly walking through your bedroom?), or if you are sick, or even if your partner wants to have a shower or a bath and you desperatly need the loo 😬! And sorry but... the smell sometimes... 🤢 Having a washbasin is obviously a must have! 😄
1500€ is not a lot relative to US prices etc HOWEVER the median European salary is significantly lower. 6 figure European salaries very hard to get which makes the price relatively expensive. I paid $3100 for the same space in Honolulu but salaries there often are well above 150k. I see why it’s hard to get places in Europe unless you are from there because wfh jobs with American salaries can quickly out price people who are actually from there so I can respect realtors and apartments making it so hard to get a place there as a foreigner:/
What a great and bright apartment! The overall floorplan with the kitchen in the corner is terrific. The wood flooring looks brand new as well. I would 100% apply removable peel and stick flooring tiles that complement the backslash over that burnt orange clay tile in the kitchen to create a modern customization to really bring it up a notch. Too bad there are no closets in the bedroom. Have you considered creating an office space in the alcove in the living area? I've seen lots of inspiration for things just like that on a few NYC instagram influencer accounts working with small spaces too. Why put it in the bedroom where you need to build out closets? Congratulations on such a great space in Paris. What arrondisment are you in and please show us your view!
Great apartment. Don’t know if you follow her, but @AlexandraGater has great ideas for decorating rentals and small spaces. Good luck in your new home.

That kitchen rocks for Paris!! Love the apartment! Thanks for showing us
Beautiful space! Can't wait to see how you decorate. May I just say, you are a breath of fresh air! You are so positive and appreciative. I wish you both the best. Please keep us posted.
Murphy bed situation would be ideal! IKEA for wardrobe/closet storage solutions…as u know I’m sure.

Wow they have rent control in Paris...that is what we need in USA. Having the bathing room seperate from toilet room is great
How charming! I can't wait to see how you tackle these decorating challenges - especially that balcony!

Looks great, I am happy for you 🎉😊 a bed with storage is a good option
Well down Margarita!!!love the living and Kitchen moved chooses!!👍

Love this apartment, very charming and large for Paris standards.
Congratulations to both of you! It’s lovely. I’ve been so excited to see this; thank you. Right or left bank?
I can't wait to see how you decorate! You decorate beautifully!
I'm so happy you're out of your old place. Congrats on your new flat!
So happy you found your place❣️It’s got all you need!
Everything looks like new and you have a "real kitchen"🤗
Seems you hit the jackpot! That kitchen is amazing
It’s gorgeous have fun decorating it. I love that you have a balcony………🤗🇨🇦
So happy for you! Enjoy!
I recommend that you get a bed with storage. One where you lift the mattress and have below the entire bed to store items!
Congratulations! What a lovely apartment. By Paris standards and all the other places you viewed previously, this is excellent!!!Looking forward to how you will set it all up!!!!Thank you for sharing Ariel.
Ahhhhh thank you for the lovely comment ☺️☺️☺️
Congratulations! It looks amazing. The triple cooktop oven dishwasher is an amazing invention. How does it perform?
I don’t know why but I’d be so nervous using the dishwasher portion! Lol.
Looking forward to see it finished!
Beautiful apartment inside and outside 😍
Good for you
I'm so happy and excited for y'all!!! I live in north Texas and am currently looking for a place.
Does your building have an elevator? The kitchen, the balcony and the layout are great. Thankyou for sharing.
One of the best small Paris apartments I’ve seen in years, may want to put your desk in the living room area.
What an adorable apt. Hope you have an elevator. Nice that no one is above you. Love the balcony. You did such a cute job decorating this last place I'm sure this one will be also. Congratulations
Yes, what arrondissement please? Rent seems reasonable, especially compared to Toronto.
absolutely love your apartment.
Curious...why the curtain at the front door? Thank you.
Lovely❤

That’s an amazing apartment! Which arrondissement is it located in?
Ok I changed my mind about moving to Paris!!!
Hâte de voir l'aménagement de ce très bel appartement 😊 👍👍👍
Great place. How about a loft bed and under you can do a closet space or your desk? Might give more much needed space for what needs to happen in your bedroom.
Great little apartment and what a low rent - so lucky! Can you tell us what arrondissement it is in?
Love the apartment! Congratulations! I would definitely try to put the desk on the living room instead of the bedroom, because I don’t think the bedroom can fit all that furniture haha i think it can be nice to set up an office space in the great room!

Love the apartment....on 7th floor.....do you have elevator or just steps?
Great apartment! BUT how is the ventilation? I hope you made sure it’s all up to code!
Beautiful apartment. Which arrondissement is this? Just being curious only, considering the rent 1500 Euros.
That is such a pretty apartment!!
The bathroom is nice!!
Beautiful. Why not put the desk in the living room cubby area?

Beautiful apartment!

Yay you have an oven in Paris!
Your apartment is gorgeous and dirt cheap. That would be double where i live. I should move to paris lol Congrats!!
thank you !!! :)
Why don’t you do the bedroom your walk in closet and set up the leaving room very well as a sleeping and resting place during the night and a welcoming area during the day? Just a suggestion
For your bedroom you could get a Murphy bed that turns into a desk in the daytime….
daaaaamn, 1500 for 42m2 and parking? where do I sign? its crazy cheap for what it is, I have friends who are paying 1300 for being colocataires
Well it looks a lot better than the prison cell studio apartment I used to rent for 2500 a month in Sydney. The beaches maybe nice for a few months a year but it's more expensive than Paris to live here :)
I'm curious.. the 1500 euros...what time period is that? In Australia our rents are calculated weekly.
Per month !

Wooow, that's half the price of an apartment in Toronto. Crazy!
Which arrondissement?
Love the 🛀
Yay❤
Where was the fridge before ?!
The apartment didn’t come with a fridge but the landlord told us that the last tenant put it in the living room !
Pretty small but cute

much too small😂
It’s actually quite big for paris standard ☺️
