We travel a lot, and we always do most of the things you suggest, except to leave a window open. We have never done that. I do travel with Clorox or some kind of wipes and wipe the light switches and TV remote most of the time although we are not mega germafobes. We do wash our hands frequently. I cannot imagine being rude to those who work service jobs. I am the chief housekeepr at home, so I appreciate being pampered a bit when we are traveling. As for all the checking of the mirrors, etc. We have not gotten into checking that stuff out, but guess we should as we keep hearing all of those “tips.”
