The Night Lords have been my personal favorite Chaos Legion, ever since I read the Night Lords trilogy a while back. I think I had an opportunity to snag this sculpt used, a while back. I didn't end up doing it, for which I've lamented ever since.
Very enjoyable video. This really does take me back to when I first started the hobby and I.........Land Raider, Raider of Lan..... ARRRRRRGGHHHH!!!!!!!
Fun fact; Vallejo Flat Brown can also serve as a good base color for applying red over too. Less layers, for sure. My favorite golds to use for TMM are Vallejo Metal Color Gold for a paler, more green gold and and P3 Rhulic Gold for a more red/brown gold. I'm currently rediscovering Reaper MSP paints because they have some unique colors in that range.
LOVE the night lords. when i played 40k as a lad, night lords were my chaos faction of choice. so gothic, so extra, good fun. back in 5th ed i would run them as blood angels because there werent any special rules for them at the time, iirc. dont think i have any of my old night lords, sadly, they were lost in one of the great purges. these old sculpts are great, i would love to get ahold of one now. love the paint job and the video, great work as always!
I love your Night Lords, your paint scheme is fantastic. Night Lords always remind me of the Space Crusade chaos space marines, dark blue is always the way to go.
Thats one cool looking champion, wouldn't fancy meeting him outside a night club. I think the terminator was gazing on with envy, obviously knows that batwing helmet is pretty awesome. The Night Lord song blaring out as the drop pod delivers its scary payload into the heart of the enemy, oh yes, yes indeed.
I recently found your channel and Ive gotta say I'm absolutely loving it. Never really noticed how many Night Lords box covers were around. Got into playing Chaos when their more modern boxes were released, and painted them as Slaaneshi, and later Iron Warriors.
