I had to sign in to my old account cause this was just too cool to see! Thank you very much for remastering a funky little idea I had that I had turned out to be a running thing within the RCT3 community. I never thought that concept would spawn so many remakes, and seeing one made by you on Planet Coaster was just the cherry on top of the cake. Thanks again to you and anyone else who kept 'The Box' series going for so long! Also big fan of your videos, been watching them for a while on my newer account :)
Wow, never expected you to show up here! I'm honored. Huge thanks for all your RCT3 videos, which undoubtedly helped bring the game to a new audience and pushed the custom content community to new heights - they definitely were a big part of what drew me to RCT3.
I wasn't sure how convincing the effect would be... Until all of a sudden we reach the top of the lift hill and I already don't know which way is up! Having the supports attached to the walls and ceiling really sold the effect!
Damn, I probably was like 9 years old when I first saw "the box". I feel really really sorry for those that have missed that majestic piece of an RCT3 creation.
unlocked some of the deepest memories in my brain right here, went back and rewatched like 12 of “the box” videos in rct3. i’ve always wanted to see something like this that is more “realistic” and this is incredible. well done as always Silv!
It’s been years, but when I was 10ish I went to Disney World, and I remember losing track of up and down on rock ‘n’ roller coaster. It’s super disorientating and is a whole new experience compared to a normal coaster.
I was hoping someone would say this. The first few seconds after launch until you come out of the immelman are filled with so much positive Gs that it is hard to tell which way is up. It really is a hidden gem if you like that disorientation.
I remember watching the video for the RCT3 version like at least 10 years ago, and I was always dreaming of buying that game. I had to be 11 or 12 years old at the time. I'm freaking 22 now. It's incredible that Frontier was still there for that specific fanbase for that amount of time to make Planet Coaster.
Amazing! Geweldig hoe je dit in elkaar hebt gezet en een mooie layout. Ik was verbaasd hoe je het voor elkaar kreeg om toch nog een redelijk lange layout te maken in een krappe ruimte. Goed werk!
Omg the classic RCT3 coaster remake!! I copied it once, absolute goldmine. You did a good a good job on the Planet Coaster counterpart. I believe the classic was a stop-and-launch advanced coaster though.
Ik heb al heel lang dit zelfde idee gehad maar nooit echt uitgewerkt, dit is echt na mijn mening de beste van allemaal! Echt trippy dat eerste stuk damn
I used to watch "The Box" videos a lot when I was younger. Then I tried to build it myself, and I failed miserably! I sucked at RCT3 and I didn't have the patience to build it all. All of my RCT3 parks have a checker tiled floor somewhere, because of all the failed attempts.
This is my first time seeing a "The Box" and it's pretty awesome! In the intro I thought it looked like a steel knot and almost subconsciously thought it didn't seem to really try to conform to the idea of "up or down." Turns out that's pretty much sums up what this is. I really want to ride this in real life! Actually... no, I probably don't because I'm not really a rollercoaster kind of guy, but I'd still love to see this to exist in real life. :D
This is awesome, it reminds me of some of the stuff Pixelated made a few years ago. Now we need to see you do this with a tetrahedron or a sphere, that would be pretty cool!
this is so cool. I built a spinning coaster in a cube three years ago and themed it to the Rubiks Cube but it wasn't close to be as disorienting as this wonderful concept. I tried using cubes as compact as yours for following projects but had to give up since you weren't allowed to disable track collision.
wow i was loving the timelapse and how much thought you put into building this coaster. However, shortly after the pov came on i got so overwhelmed with motion sickness that i vomited. This has never happened to me before..
There is a coaster like this called X at thorpe Park until it was taken down 2 yrs ago but it was in a triangular prism instead and had lazer paths to fake where you were going it was pretty cool...

Silvarret ok
OMG it's you, i thought you were dead
Holy shit, i remember you from the old RCT3 days! Fuck dude, you gave me so much inspiration back then. Fuck man, hit me with that nostalgia.
@@PacificDaneOfficialikr!?!?!?!?!?
Mission accomplished...completely disoriented in the cinematics.
I wasn't sure how convincing the effect would be...
Until all of a sudden we reach the top of the lift hill and I already don't know which way is up!
Having the supports attached to the walls and ceiling really sold the effect!
You can ride the box irl. You only need two things:
1. Drugs
2. A poor fantasy
3. Roddy Ricch
@@Silvarret Ah yes. Of course
The POV is soo trippy to watch! Its Amazing!
Especially after the lift hill!
I can see Alton towers doing something like this. It fits the eerie theme and it can be kept below the tree line. It would fit so well
Would fit with their extremely weird themes
It reminds me of Smiler.
A spinball whizzer re-theme and re-track😂
RSLVD actually that’s kinda plausible
Kinda looks like a sequel to the smiler
Damn, I probably was like 9 years old when I first saw "the box".
I feel really really sorry for those that have missed that majestic piece of an RCT3 creation.
Yeah, but what about *The Mario Box?*
@@Bacony_Cakes Seen that one too
Me: ok ima keep track of what is up and down
Me not even a second into the box: WHAT EVEN IS REALITY
Nobody:
Nobody at all:
The Box coaster: Eee urrrr
Eee urrrr
I remember myself. A 7 yo boy watching the box rct3 on my dads old windows pc....This gave me nostalgic feelings!
unlocked some of the deepest memories in my brain right here, went back and rewatched like 12 of “the box” videos in rct3. i’ve always wanted to see something like this that is more “realistic” and this is incredible. well done as always Silv!

This gives me mad King's Dominion vibes... Flight of fear has the same feel to it.
I was hoping someone would say this. The first few seconds after launch until you come out of the immelman are filled with so much positive Gs that it is hard to tell which way is up. It really is a hidden gem if you like that disorientation.
More like laff trakk at Hershey park
Such an amazing creation by a legend of the game
Damn, that final roll is actually insane. Would love for a park to build something like this, I think a park like Walibi Holland would be a great fit!
I should send Mascha van Till the video :)
Don’t watch the pov 3 times in a row, your stomach won’t like it......
Nor will your head
my stomach didnt the first
but it's...so tempting
wow! I never though to use a different coaster track and put spinning cars on it, AMAZING WORK!!
Wow you hearted it! I love your work and never give uppp!!
I can really imagine this at Alton Towers
Thinking inside the box :D
Wow the effect works so well on the pov! I was immediately lost on the first turn : D
After the POV I honestly had to close my eyes for a bit! It did just what it was supposed to
man you have no idea how happy this makes me!! so many memories from watching the box videos and trying my own in rct3!! i love it silv :) thanks
Mack should totally make one of these IRL with their Extreme Spinning Coaster
I really couldn’t tell which way during the POV. Amazing job, SIlvarret! Subscribed!
This is probably the trippiest coaster I’ve ever seen
that first drop is really cool, it feels like you come up through the floor
This is blowing my mind. I miss these days so much man.
Cool to see a modern realization of such a classic video!
Wow, i totally forgot about this old RCT3 coaster. Love the reimagination!
I never thought the effect would work so well. The pov is mind-blowing! 👏👏👏
man, leglaude was such a throwback; his mine rollercoaster is still my favorite rct3 video :)
thanks for the nostalgia trip haha
So disorientating! The puke cleaning costs would be skyhigh. I love it!
* Disorienting ;) You're welcome!
Man, I’m so glad you’re making these cool videos still! I love the time lapses
Oh man the nostalgia, I remember watching the original video soooo long ago...
Love to see this coming from RTC3
That’s the coolest coaster I’ve ever seen ngl
Great to see you doing coasters in planet coaster again!

Fantastic Silvarret. I even got a bit dizzy on the end bit! LOL!
this is so trippy! the supports make it 10 times better, i thought the wall was the ground in the end lol
Kinda reminds me of eurosat in Europapark but that’s a sphere, love these compact coasters
"Just looking at The Box Redux makes me feel sick!"
Amazing!
Geweldig hoe je dit in elkaar hebt gezet en een mooie layout. Ik was verbaasd hoe je het voor elkaar kreeg om toch nog een redelijk lange layout te maken in een krappe ruimte. Goed werk!
This is crazy! Well done silv!
Omg the classic RCT3 coaster remake!! I copied it once, absolute goldmine. You did a good a good job on the Planet Coaster counterpart. I believe the classic was a stop-and-launch advanced coaster though.
Wow!! Wat een prachtige creatie.. En wat lekker Des-Oriënterend is de baan zeg :D... Ga zeker zo door!
When I watch your videos I get jealous of your talent. I know I could build what you build but if it takes more than 30min I give up.
Amazing! I would like to say that I'd ride this in real life, but that POV made me a bit unsure, lol. Epic ride, man. Bravo.
Absolutely Jaw Dropping
Ik heb al heel lang dit zelfde idee gehad maar nooit echt uitgewerkt, dit is echt na mijn mening de beste van allemaal! Echt trippy dat eerste stuk damn
This was amazing, to be honest i didn't think it would work that well until I saw the POV.
This would be wildly disorienting irl... imagine all the throw up 😂
There is a coaster like this. Flight of fear. It isn't a spinning coaster but... same concept :)
I really like this concept.
This is my first time seeing a "The Box" and it's pretty awesome! i wanted to do this too after seeing up is down. You really pulled it off
This is awesome, it reminds me of some of the stuff Pixelated made a few years ago. Now we need to see you do this with a tetrahedron or a sphere, that would be pretty cool!
Amazing art and conception!
Nice pov. Really enjoyed this. Look forward to your showcase
The smiler theme would be very suiting for this kind of ride
Me: Man, all these super complex themes, the level of detail is pushing my creativity to its limits
Silv: [B O X]
Me: nah, you're right
Wow this brings back memories
I saw this and I knew I needed to watch this
This is epic. Good job, man!
I think rock'n'rollercoaster in the Disney parks is kinda like that, what do you think?
Dit is weer zoals alles wat jij doet prachtig niet normaal doe AUB verder!!!!
Holy M.C. Escher. I need some ginseng after that POV.
eeee oooo, Shout out to Roddy Ricch.
had to put a Mack in the box, hmm
“Tell em black white spin what? “
Yap, it works 100% i want that in real life
Now I want King's Island to theme their indoor ride to be like this and add spinning cars.
this is so cool. I built a spinning coaster in a cube three years ago and themed it to the Rubiks Cube but it wasn't close to be as disorienting as this wonderful concept. I tried using cubes as compact as yours for following projects but had to give up since you weren't allowed to disable track collision.
Job well done, that POV started to make me feel sick :P
Now we just wait for someone to recreate it in NL2 so we can try it in VR :D
Wow...looks soooo trippy...😅🙃🙌
Well done... MC Escher would be proud.
This coaster is lit af, great work🔥imagine riding a coaster like this one in real life, I just say no orientation
something like this would be so rad in real life
Would such a coaster be possible in real life? That be trippy, yo.
can we have more PlanCo mini projects like this one?
I had to watch the POV 3 times before I could track where the ground was.
Loved the concept!
wow that was AMAZING!
This is actually crazy
Crazy how my stomach started hurting!!
Those trains reall are Runnin out da coop in the lot.
I really whish that one day, we can ride something like this in Real Life!
that is an insane ride!
the corkscrew is so disorienting, it's amazing! Easily the best part of the ride!
This is so amazing!!
Had to put a coaster in the box!
This is so cool good work!😀
WER IS THE FLOR ?!?
Thats a cool coaster !
Saw your Twitter and knew this was coming.
wow i was loving the timelapse and how much thought you put into building this coaster. However, shortly after the pov came on i got so overwhelmed with motion sickness that i vomited. This has never happened to me before..
The only improvement would be to add the checkerboard pattern everywhere, including the station house, mid course brake run, and end brake run.
There is a coaster like this called X at thorpe Park until it was taken down 2 yrs ago but it was in a triangular prism instead and had lazer paths to fake where you were going it was pretty cool...
I hope that Efteling is going to build such a ride
This is amazing
If you look at Runaway Mountain at Six Flags Over Texas, it pretty much is a box coaster. No inversions but in a box none the less.
