That's actually covered in next week's video. The pad of the finger, plus or minus. Try this; measure your finger, from the top to the first knuckle. Take a pen and mark a small dot in the middle. Make another dot 1/4 inch forward of the first, toward the end of the finger. The 2 dots are the approximate contact area for the trigger. There is generally only about 1/8 an inch of variance either side of the dots. It's all about pulling the trigger perfectly straight back If you go to the complete tip, you'll be pushing sideways, toward your non firing side and can slip off the trigger. If you go to the first knuckle, you are going to be pulling sideways, into your firing side.
