This game has really inspired me and been something so special. I've been developing a top down Survival Horror game called Survive Into Night over the last year, hoping to release on Steam this Summer and push early builds to itch. Wish I could find the right way to build an audience like Darkwood did, thanks for an amazing game that is still great to this day.

I always loved their gun effects. It makes the pistol (or what seems like a .44 revolver) seem so fucking powerful.

Why on earth is there no new gameplay shown? ...the game looks the exact same as it did months ago.
From what i can tell, the basic gameplay has been finished for a long time, it was the world generating, crafting options, enemys writing and various other aspects that needed working on.
I'll buy it when the price drops down to $10. Map seems REALLY small and is really limited at its current state.

Too late, jizzed all over myself.
How is this even scary? The character is so small, and we are watching him from a mile above. You need to get something like this in first person and then it would be scary. This is just silly and odd.
Depends on the person playing it, and if you haven't played this game personally, I suggest not to get any preconceptions.
You don't want to die In a game, else you go back doing the same shit all over again, you WANT to progress, wether your aware of your want or not, if you die, you'll ether A: go back a previous checkpoint and then doing the same thing, like backtracking, except your retracing your steps to GET to where you were before. Or B: you'll lose that character permanently until you restart all over, especially if you grown attach to that character, especially the character your playing. Oh and loud noises with darkness.
Meh dont like top down games..This wont be on my list ..But good luck!
Looks more like a rip-off of Dead Frontier. Although that mmo is pretty obscure anyways.
Reminds me of 2d dead frontier a lot, but it's not a rip off, just similar art style :)
