    Great idea Whirly. This is exactly what I made until I found out about a charge board from Fractal Engineering where you can select how many cells to charge (up to 6) via a jumper on the board. It's has ph2 & bt2 connections on it as well! Awesome piece of kit! He even screen prints your FPV name for you on the back of it! 😎

      The great thing about series charging is you don't have to make sure the batteries are the same state of charge (voltage). Within reason the charger will balance them out.

    I left mine for like 5 yrs, and tried to charge them now, no one works xD. Also tried to use the charger included for my copter and it started smoking, guess the fuse went! It sounds like one or more of the LiPos is faulty. Try measuring the voltage on each one with a voltmeter. If any of them are under about 2V, they're bad. You can sometime revive them with a variable power supply and jolt them into life, but I don't recommend it unless you really know what you're doing.

    • @rafal1031
      @rafal1031 Месяц назад

      @@WhirlyBlokeI measured the voltage. When started charging it was around 3.7v each battery. When it comes to an end of charging, say 4.1v when normal charging, or 3.8v when set to storage charging, all cells are flashing red for hours on toolkitrc m7ac. On main screen, next to main voltage reading, little red letter „c” also change into red letter „v”. It only happens when charging small whoops 1s batteries such as 200mAh. Tried 2 different sets, 150mAh and 220 mah, and it seems it can not finish the process, keeps flashing red all cells for hours. However when charging a bit larger 1s, such as 500mAh, it doesn’t happen. Is it possible that m7ac is struggling to balance such small batteries?
