Thanks Greg, Another great vid including all the info - terminal tackle, baits, depths, techniques, etc , etc AWESOME. Congrats also on the conservation of the Nannies
I've met Greg a few times at fishing competitions,I found him to be very approachable and willing to have a chat and pass his knowledge on freely,he is also a very good fisherman and his DVD'S on Reef fishing are second to none! Well worth a look 👍 🎣
Great video as always Greg! I love seeing you get out there with your old man and close mates to smack a few fish and make some memories. Those nannies seem to be more than happy to school up and rise off the bottom. I reckon they'd respond well to the same techniques we use for snapper down here. Those reds were awesome too! Can't wait for the next vid!
And yet another wicked video from Greg and the crew !! I watch every frame of every video and learn so much from them. What a fantastic trip you had mate !! So jealous !! And once again Greg, thank you so much for the action and all the time you put in making these video for us. Always appreciated !! Cheers.
Great content and a very productive fishing adventure. Good to see a smart bloke using a rod bucket, I find them a must for reef fishing but not many youtubers seem to use them. Keep up living the life! Cheers
So jealous Greg and thanks for the video! It's been so tough this year here in Coffs I'm glad someone is catching some decent fish I'd love to hear where you anchored and how you spend the night in the bug boat, hopefully that's in next video. Keep trying to bring my boat up but every time the weather or something else buggers it up...... I'll get out to the reef in my own boat one day though
Again awesome stuff mate! , would love to see a video on your Furuno electronics! like how you set them up and how they all work together. Especially that 3D middle screen looks like a game changer. Cheer , Tight lines! 👍
thanks mate glad you liked it. I love my electronics and it's a big part of finding consistently quality fish. Hopefully i can do a vid on it in the near future mate. Cheers
Great video boss , love it so much ! Could I know , how deep the water is ? And how far off from marina ? I am in Melbourne , planning to tow my boat to your place next year to do few weeks fishing , which months would u Recommond ? Thanks a lot champ !
4pp coming in soon, according to FQ they are over fished and near collapse. Well looks like they ok to me. I just cant get them past sharks in FNQ, So will be lucky to get 4 nanny with the grey dogs
Great bit of catching Greg, but my mate and have 2 questions: 1. Why do you have your ratchets on? 2. Why don’t you turn them off when retrieving? Bloody annoying and ruins some great footage.
@kiwireece05 it’s actually not the ratchet on both Greg’s Jigging master or the blue MAXEL I’m using. The accurate Terry is using doesn’t have spring hence why it is silent. They both come factory built with a spring on the anti reverse Dogs. Both these reels are jigging reels built for running high drag pressure that runs the risk of putting too much pressure on a bearing alone. Agree it’s annoying but it does serve a purpose and fail safe if the anti reverse bearing fails.
Love the Venom rods. Especially the 2-8PE.
great episode!
Thanks mate

Soo many Nannys mate. How good!!

Great episode. It's absolutely amazing How inquisitive? Those Fish are towards the drone.👍👍

Thanks mate. We fish 70 to 100km plus from the marina. Water depth was between 40 to 70 mtrs, Best months are June to Oct in my opinion
Thanks a lot champ ! Love every video from your channel , with it’s influence, I even start planing to move to Yeppoon 😹😹
i love ur content
Thanks mate it's much appreciated. Thanks for the support.
Wicked fishing! Hey mate how do you work out the best bite time? Cheers
Hey I try work around moon phases and positions. 4 or 5 days before or after the moon. Moon above or moon below generally gives the best bite periods.
4pp coming in soon, according to FQ they are over fished and near collapse. Well looks like they ok to me. I just cant get them past sharks in FNQ, So will be lucky to get 4 nanny with the grey dogs
Yeah mate changes coming and to be honest 4pp wouldn't be the end of the world
Are you using wire for trace?
Just 70lb mono leader mate
@gregswickedfishing Thanks mate. Planing on fishing and diving the bunker in late august. Any other tips to get onto the reds and nanny?
Dirty ole nannies!
That's what we were saying trying to get through them lol
@@gregswickedfishing haha
Hey mate. How many km out roughly?
120km
anyway from 60 to 100 plus mate
@gregswickedfishing thank you.
I will be buying a boat in the next couple years. Looking forward to using the sounder and exploring
