Dont need any special skills?? this is a master class, look at the quality of your work, it includes skills in concreting, bricklaying, tiling, understanding thermo dynamics, this is not two clay garden pots put together to make an oven. Very impressive.
Wow such an impressive comment. Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me.

TÜRK tandırı bu. genelde buyuk kismi toprak altinda imal edilir. duvarina ekmek yapıştırılanlarda, iki üç parca pişmiş camur tercih edilir . ve ust kismi biraz daha dar olur. guzel temiz dekoratif imalat olmus.

Awesome. Effective & Aesthetic design.
That was Fantastic Demir. Masha’Allah. Cok guzel
Of all the things people asked, I wonder if they expected this cost you OVER $1,000
Very very nice work. Спасиба ... Is it smooth on the inside? (to stick bread to..?)
The cover was a must, but I'd also have put a screen on the vent. (to avoid cooking "extra" critters)
You did a nice job on both those ovens they look really nice.
Nice and neat and always cleaning as you go. Thank you
Thanks for your comment. Appreciate it.
So Amazing.
Thank you Daniel I will build one am so inspired.
Go for it!
Very nice 👍🎉❤
Thanks 🤗
Nice idea!
Those materials are Expensive
Yes they are
Ever thought about adding a beach ball under the cover to help the rain to run off so it doesn’t pool up in the middle?
Good idea:) Thanks
It looks absolutely awesome! but iam more interested in tasting the chicken to be honest :D
You are welcome to stop by:)
A work of Art beautiful job 👌

As usual you are very creative sir
Helal olsun Daniel. I will start my own soon. Amazing work. Best detailed tandoor build video on youtube.
Thank you kardesim, kolay gelsin. Amerikada mi yapacaksin yoksa Turkiyedemi?
Eyvallah abi. Türkiyede yapacağım. Pizza oven yapmıştım. Sana yemin ederim hiç aklımda yoktu tandir fırını, senin videodan sonra ben bunu yapmalıyım oldum :) Tamamen senin sistem yapacagim. Bitince foto atarım bir not verirsin :))@@DanielDemir
Beautiful job sir
So nice of you
Сделано всë безупречно и нет, даже, повода для критики. Класс! Только, один вопрос, как очистить от золы и углей?
You can use this broom and dustpan amzn.to/3SgnuTx
eline saglik....
Eyvallah
Трудяга. Так заморочится и с изоляцией особо. Как будто металл плавить собрался)
Amazing work sir! I’ve always loved tandoori cooking. If I may make suggestion for you rainfly. Store your wok upside down on top of the tandoori and put your rain fly over it to create a dome so water runs off rather than pooling in the middle.
You are absolutely correct 👍 Thanks . By the way I don’t live in that house anymore
Eline saglik güzel oldu
Teşekkürler
Nice project and impressive work. question : a traditional tandoor also has a lid that preserves heat as well as the sides of the tandoor. Why did you not make that as heat efficient ? It reduces cooking time substantially.
Non-Answer, and just click-through hearts. What a pricky cactus...
Good stuff
Bravo Eline sağlık 👌
Eyvallah kardesim sagolun
That's a lot of work my brother, well done!
Thank you so much !
Make sure that whatever tile you select is for outdoor use.
Yes it’s.
@@DanielDemir , I meant that for others who might not know. I love your work.
I'm used to a tandoor having a smooth clay inner wall, does this design have any issue when sticking breads to the bricks? I love how it looks
Yeah, I noticed that, not smoothed inside. I suppose the unsmoothness can cause the heat to go in between to cook at another level.
Really good looking Tandoori. Can you please let us know how much does it cost to build and the tools and materials we need for this project ? Just update you description or let me know in reply of my comment that you have updated description and I would love to come back and read. Thanks a lot for this beautiful idea for creative Tandoor
It’s been less than 6 months and I think most of the materials are still same price. The entire cost was around $1100.
Super
Thanks
👏👏👏👏👏
Wow, I enjoyed your beautiful design of tandoo r. Like all the comments, excellent job😊
I have few questions, how cook you clean the ashes? I did see an exit from bottom part for cleaning?. You had an opening with tube support, Is that for venting? It would have been nice to allow for a gas burner accomidation, so that you can cook with gas and also , if needed, to add some wood chips for smoking flavor az necessary. It would have been also nice to add steel rods or gril insert for smoking meats and for pots to make soups of all kind. Overall, great work as vasic as it can be a nd well indulated to maintain heat. Again, well done bro...God bless1👍❤
I clean up using
Large Upright Broom and Dustpan with long handle. It’s super easy. Yes the bottom opening is for ventilation.
My friend Daniel allow me to say what a wonderful and nice organized you done but dont you think its too much work and materials for an oven ? it can be done in an easier and cheaper way, my best regards,,,Badr Mohammed.
It’s just matter of choice. Yes it can definitely be cheaper if you use cheap materials.
Great build but one question. Why the crushed glass? If you've ever had single pane glass windows you'll know they do not insulate well. I wouldn't drink from a glass coffee mug if it was hot. I'm just confused I guess on the insulative properties of glass, especially compared to a fireblanket it seems non essential.
It’s a very old technique to insulate the oven floors. It’s still used in many countries. Yes it’s 8 times less insulates than carbon slicade boards.
@@DanielDemir at least a few of us (me) took the time to use CTRL+F to see if you already answered "why the glass" ... :)
Let your house be full of love and children laugh !
Thank you so much !
amazing, love just watching....but how do you clean it?
Using dust pan . amzn.to/46yMUjn
cool video! thank you! what is the exact size of the firebrick and where do you buy them? i have priced them and they are almost unaffordable.
Check your local brick store, never try to buy them online. I need to measure the exact size
Brilliant! Where are you located? I'm in Canada and you've inspired me! But I fear that this structure might not hold up to our freeze-thaw cycles. :(
I live in Gainesville Virginia.
You live under the ice?!
Use lime instead of cemet to clad the bricks and you'll be just fine.
Great video, best on YT. Just one question, the yellow angle wedges you used on the last row, what was the angle there? Thanks very much.
Not sure but It is about 15 degrees.
Great job👍
Inspiring build, great work!
Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but what’s the reason for the broken glass on top of the thermal blanket, in the base of the tandoor?
Traditional way to insulate the oven floor
What kind of glass did you use n where did you get it from?
@@supergrover17 that's probably a project for each person ... I was thinking the same thing tho. GL
Great craftsmanship, obsession with perfection. One issue - the bottom vent is not practical, as wont be able to clean ash. I would have removed the metal gutter and left it as a side chimney the way he boxed it. That way, it can serve as both an air draw while making it easier to rake ashes straight out.
It’s definitely a great advice. You can use a dust pan and broom to clean up now and will work absolutely perfectly.
Love the creativity… How long from start to finish?
It depends on how many hours you work each day. You can finish it in as little as 3 days.
Great video, but what purpose does the broken glass serve
It’s a tradition method to insulate the oven floor
Can you make tandoori bread with it , would the dough stick to the brick same way the clay oven does ?
I don’t live in the house anymore:(
It's beautiful! But how do you get the ashes out?
Dust pan and a broom
