    Rotating parts of the sketch literally blew my mind.. never thought about doing that! so much easier than constructing a plane first, sketching on that, deleting the plane etc. - cool!

    There is just so much to learn from this video. It’s worth viewing multiple times. Thanks for sharing.

    I followed this wonderful video step by step and applied everything exactly, and I learned from it a lot of what I was looking for. The result was completely identical to the model, and I felt the amount of information I gained. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Like always a fantastic video where I learned something new!!!
    My iPad is just for this app. 95% of the iPad time I use Shapr3d and even with some new encountered bugs and limitations it’s just the best app ever. One good thing about it, it’s getting better very quick and and this tutorials round up the experience.
    Please never stop and think you’ve done enough videos. Especially with the new features and improvements it’s nice to have them in a complete workflow, even if the short tool vids in the app are very handy (missing one for pattern).
    Thank you very much!

      @audio technika No, but depending on your background and experience, hard to tell if it feels hard for you.

    I've learnt a lot when you use the plane and section to make the line travel the space in 3 dimensions. 19:30

    This is great for showing an ID model for presentations and I really appreciate the tutorial explaining each command.
    Now I'll search your library for an engineering tutorial that teaches importing an ID model to make a master assembly of a computer mouse or other model.
    Then shelling, drafting surfaces, extracting individual parts, making them ready for SLA model`s and prototyping them with production manufacturing houses for engineering evaluation that will use detail drawings for incoming inspection and release for production tooling when approved.
    Hopefully Shapr3D has tutorials of each sequence mentioned above and is capable of modeling each of these steps.

    at 2:52 when creating a control spline, there is a red dotted line around it and when exiting the sketch it marks it as an area, instead of like a line, like in the video. i guess that is also the reason i can’t draw another spline starting from a previous spline point, it just keeps dragging the first point of the previous spline, i am new to this app and have been going crazy about this with no idea how to fix it… please help

    This video actually gave me the missing info needed to model a Power Ranger helmet. Thanks 🍻

    Thank you, this is great and so detailed. However, if Shapr 3D could actually teach you how to make the reserves for the pcb and the mechanism for the products to actually work, it would be a lot better. Still, stellar video, I am hoping for more similar videos!🎉

    At approximately 3:30 you mention "adding a pair of CV's". What are CV's?

    • @Shapr3d
      @Shapr3d  2 года назад

      Hi there! It means Control Vertices.

    • @JSClements
      @JSClements 2 года назад

      @@Shapr3d Thanks. The process of where the CV's were selected went by so *fast*. Were the CV's those of the horizontal line previously drawn? If so, I wouldn't have thought they would have already been aligned vertically.

    • @Shapr3d
      @Shapr3d  2 года назад

      @@JSClements This is a Control Vertice, which is placed when they are making the two splines at around 1:55 🙌

      @@Shapr3d Can you make a video explaining how to go about the internal part of the mouse? I mean, based on your tutorial I was able to create a solid out shape, how about the internal part? So I could fit the electronics and whatnot. Thanks in advance!

    I have been trying to perform the loft command and it always gives me an error message body would be invalid. I have started from scratch several times and the same thing. i am using a PC for what is worth. any solution? I was able to build the kayak tutorial which requires lofting and no problem.

    Which software?

  • @CraftDutch

    Make this software free please, it would be perfect for hard surface concept art

      While I would love to not pay for the software, why in the world would they make it free? It takes time and money to create and manage software like this. The only reason it’s a good software is because it’s paid.

    nothing in your tutorial works, you should also proceed even more faster when you explain, and also hide all the icons for even more fun....
