You have to be careful handling the Go 3 because it has a tendency to change modes on ya. I have this happen a lot. It’s so delicate. Go Pro has a feature where you can set it to record for 15 or 30 seconds or even up to one minute. Since I record in short bursts I like that. Other action cams don’t have that feature.
That's a bit disappointing. I was hoping for an honest review but it seems you've missed the point of the Go 3 and you're comparing it against a completely different kind of product. It doesn't seem the Go 3 was ever made to directly compete with a GoPro, that's what Insta360's Ace cameras are for. I've been looking to buy a Go 3 and the vast majority of promotional material shows it as more of a holiday/daily life action cam. Swimming, hiking, etc. It doesn't really give the impression of a hardcore action cam meant for anything more. Perhaps that's on Insta360 for naming it an "action cam" instead of something different.
Which cave have you woken up from? Insta360 has other cameras to rival the go pro. And do you not do your research before getting the go 3? It's been out for almost a year now with so many reviews. GoPro is so yesterday 😂
Thank you. I appreciate your view on this. I was considering it for protest monitoring, but even though it would work, I’d rather get a couple Hero 4s on eBay. At least, if it fell, it wouldn’t be counter to the instructions lol😅
