I hate singing at functions like that with nobody paying attention and talking throughout your performance.. I hope the Ringmasters got paid BIG BUCKS for that gig!
I'm always puzzled why there is so much talking at the afterglows (not that this is one) when a world class group is performing up close and personal...sometimes you can hear doors slamming, bus carts rattling across the floor and people laughing...for me it would be really distracting to perform in such a din

Could be difficult to hear himself. Sometimes it can feel like the monitors are playing tricks on you.
