I saved for almost 2 years to buy this car. I bought a used prefacelift RC300h about a month ago. The infotainment needs some time getting used to, and the EV range is relatively small, but other than that the car is superb. No shakes or rattles, build quality is on another level. Seats are super comfy and it's a great cruiser. OK it's not a rocket, bit it's also not extremely slow. And it's extremelyyyy rare car where I'm from. Top notch car, I'm really enjoying it :)
It's OK. I don't have Mark Levinson sound system as mine is Executive trim and not Fsport or Luxury, but I'm not complaining. The thing that I noticed is if you stream via bluetooth from your phone it's not that good, you have to turn the volume quite up. Normal radio is perfect @@Trade2077
Bought that car thanks to your Video, it’s fun to drive and the Mark Levinson system compensates for not being a rocket (even though I can keep up easily with a BMW 435i until around 60kmh but after the shift into 3d gear it just becomes slow as hell, but on the Autobahn it’s kind of a rocket after around 100kmh)💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Honestly, if Lexus had offered this car with the same gearbox and engine configuration that the Crown RS Advance, it would have sell much more. A more involving gearbox and a better performance in staying economic was the way to go. But honestly, a lot of things have been missed with the RC, from the start, having the châssis kronenberged for a cabrio version that never came was a huge mistake. Having no performance version for Europe outside of the RCF, second mistake. Having missed to integrate the 3.3L turbo inline 6 that they made with Mazda for the refresh was the third mistake. Having set their goal on comfort withtout re-focusing a bit on sportyness was the fourth mistake... that made the RC redundant with the LC and the IS. You get my gist... this car was a failure, because Toyota failed to give him the right spot in their lineup.
Thanks for the footage, I was looking for a good video like this with on board mixed driving. It's not a rocket but seems quick enough. I'm thing of upgrading from my 320d to an is300h. Did you buy the car and do you recommend the engine setup?
That's because the gas engine it's about 180hp. 220hp it's the maximum power with the hybrid system so that's only available when you have enought batery.
The 0-60 time is probably with the petrol engine only, since in Europe they aren't allowed to use "temporary" power gains/boosts in acceleration figures. It's probably quicker than 8.6 in reality, especially with instant torque from the electric motors off the line. It was the same deal with the Fiesta ST, it had 200hp on overboost but they could only use 180hp in stats.

what combined fuel consumption do you get with conservative driving?
@@Trade2077 would be interesting to know for me as well.
Most comfortable car I've ever sat in
My dream car.
i dont understand why Lexus do not offer their nice HUD in RC and IS like in the GS or RX series .
Man, the fake engine noise is super annoying ! Otherwise, I really like the RC 300h.

Why does this Car have Shift Pedals although it has a CVT Gearbox?

Camera used ?
Cool!
slow for 220hp but nice car
