Hey Steve, thanks for the opportunity! I always like getting these little bags and boxes from AliExpress. Kinda like random Christmas joy! I would be interested to see the little USB-Audio Device in action! Would be great to see in one of your projects!
Great video as always. Rulers are always handy. I like the fact you can use the wire gauge on them. I don't design things but I eventually plan to put some kits together and it might be helpful then too.
WINNER IS xEEn - please get in touch to my email info@chunkymedia.co.uk with your name, postal address and contact number! CONGRATS! GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED! WE GOT TO THE 31st MARCH 2019 BEFORE WE GOT TO 1000 SUBS, SO I WILL PICK UP A RANDOM COMMENT AS A WINNER, AND NOTIFY YOU ALL VIA A NEW VIDEO, UPLOADED SOON!
My first Stephen Ludgate video. I've heard the name dropped a few times, especially from Seon (Unexpected Maker) Nice postbag vid. Loads of cool stuff. Thanks Stephen.
Ahh - I recognise the avatar from a certain crappy badge maker! Thanks for the comment, I hope you enjoy other videos! David Watts tends to throw my name about... like muck.... haha!
Hi Stephen! I've never seen a normally open reed switch, let alone an SPDT reed switch. I'm gonna have to get me some. Thanks for including all the links Stephen!
Well.. that explains a lot!!! Checked your channel, and RUclips had unsubscribed me from you???! WTF RUclips?!! Back on board now Hari - not me...I swear!!!! Time to binge watch your videos!
normal humans use raspberry pi whit octoprint, lot cheapen and beter than arduino build many module slowest and shit same. raspi can write own code too if need additional somethink do. auto shutdown, printer fire watch, camera, temperature follower, filament sensors etc. arduino no can do all.
The Octoprint Raspberry Pi still connects to an Arduino based 3D printer board that runs the printer. There are very few 3D printers that ONLY have a Raspberry Pi board - they almost ALL have an MCU board based on Marlin, Duet etc. OctoPrint only adds additional features to the printer.
@@ChunkySteveo no need yes, i need biggest hahah, better use than have big screen, 15-22" have normal and good. maybe if use movies too need biggest i looking netflix my laptop but display have hdmi to 43" screen. its good mvoie looking, raspi config no need big about 14-22" have normal and good.
The postbags are back!
Until the next gap in videos!

U Rule!
And you rule-r! 😂
Stephen do you ever plan to do some reviews on the stuff you get ?
Haha yeah, when I build something worth sharing!
Show us how you solder that bare display screen to board !
Haha hopefully I will.. just need to get a couple of IC's in, and steady my nerves!
@@ChunkySteveo will be waiting !
Eeek... need to sharpen my eyes too... that cable is so tiny!! Mike Rankin thinks it's not that hard though...?!
@@ChunkySteveo not only eyes, your soldering skill and the tracks on board needs to be precise as well, unless you use some kind of ribbon adapter.
It's direct solder to the pcb... not looking forward to it. Check the card in the video on the OLED bit for Mike's video, it's tiny!
time 2;06 display have too smal no do anythink . same under 14" all have big shit no see and no do anythinks.
Sometimes you don't need a 14" display 😉
