Halston Tribute: Lincoln Center 1992 Part 5

This is the conclusion of the Halston Tribute produced by Liza Minnelli and B. Jeffrey Madoff at Lincoln Center in 1992.
The ending took an intimate look at pictures from Halston's childhood, then his brother Bob Frowick lets us in on what it was like to be Halston's brother, growing up in the Midwest. Liza wraps up the evening with a poignant speech and a few phrases from a song. This was an amazing evening and a part of fashion history. I was proud to be a part of it. We will never see someone like Halston again.

I felt so sad for Liza. She really lost a good close friend. I think she learned a lot from him that helped her in later life.

The Halston Netflix special brought me here. Although I am a child of the 70’s & 80’s, I didn’t know much about him.
I now know what I missed. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE LIGHT & BEACON OF INSPIRATION, GENEROSITY, CREATIVITY, LOVE & IMMENSE PASSION & FIERCENESS HE WAS! The world was much better for Halston’s existence. I feel such sorrow & anger for his light being cut so short.
Life is both so beautiful & so cruel.
