if I ever draw at your level, I would be amazed by all the works I do… Love your works
Wong Yew Man same 😂
Even the pieces you are less happy with are still amazing to us. Keep up the great work.
This is so beautiful. I love how you're always trying something new.
✨❤️ really cool work! I did like the pencil review too 💙
Thank you very much 😊
@@KirstyPartridgeArt 😍🙏
You are the best teacher 👍🏻 I am so proud to be part of your patreon community 👌🏻
I really like how you put detailed information in the video, really helpful
Thank you very much, Kirsty, for so frankly revealing the pros and cons of working with this medium. The fact that they dry much lighter than when wet and that they dry with a high degree of shine are both important things to know.
No problem, some of the cons I mention may be because I’m not using the right techniques with the medium, but I didn’t see any reason why I would choose to work with these instead of watercolours or watercolour pencils 😊
Wooow 😍😍😍😍😍😍 this work is sooo beautiful i can't believe that you paint this with graphite it is soo soo amazing i will definitely try to paint with graphite thank you for sharing this beautiful art work! 😘😘❤❤✏
Hi I love your art work and how you put it down on paper you make it look so easy. The grafite review was great! I didn't even know they existed until now. Thank you very much and good work. You made the rhino pop a little with the white paint. 😊
I have these but haven't tried them yet. This video make me want to give them a try. Great video!😊
I definitely have to try this soon! Thank you for your tutorial.
Jeremiah T omg your videos are amazing!
👍
Trust me u can make any art medium look great ♥
Thanks a lot for your helpful tips‼️ I Always Enjoy seeing your videos 😍 you continue to Help me improve in my Drawings.😊👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼
I have those pencils and they are really fun to work with. They’re tricky, because once you add water and they dry, they are pretty much stuck there. That’s the only thing that makes them frustrating for me. I’ve tried erasing with a couple of different types of erasers and with water, and neither works well.
Woow! you've made a very good job! I'm taking inspiration from you for my drawing skills!😍❤️
I signed up for Skillshare because of your recommendation. Very happy with it
I love using these so much, You did a beautiful job with them
Great medium for traveling and notebook sketching I think...
oh, that looks really good. I have to try them! Thank you!
Thanks for the review Kirsty, was looking in to purchasing these to go with my watercolour pencils as an alternative. Think I might give them a miss for now as I feel I may get more values etc with the watercolours alone. By the way have you tried pan pastels to work alongside your pastel art works. I’ve purchased a tiny starter set and was wondering if you had them for review? They look an exciting medium. Your picture even though you weren’t happy as you could have been turned out lovely goes to show it’s the skill behind the medium that counts x
Lool i love it.. your amazing.. i know your work so i understand where u coming from when you are talking abt contrast
I use water soluble graphite underneath watercolors sometimes. I still mostly erase it before using watercolor though, but it works. Your drawing looks great and there are so many interesting lights and darks.
I'd recommend using a paper towel to the wet areas you'd want to be lighter
Love your videos! You are very creative
You can get rid of the shine by spraying krylon matte finish of the finished pieces. I like that the fiber Castel Aquarelle are smooth and blend nice without water.
Now THAT looks cool.
I love your painting it's looks good and I also learn something new everytime I look at your art tutorial's. I gonna try that myself.
Caran d‘ache also makes watersouble graphite pencils with colour
Wow!! It looks amazing - very realistic❤️ Love your work Kirsty😍
I still can’t believe you can draw so good I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler xD 💛
This is so nice! Time for new art supplies!
I haven't used Graphite soluble pencils but I have charcoal soluble pencils and they are as dark as a blackhole when you use them with water, If you use them dry they don't compare to charcoal though
i bought these pencils a few months ago, but never used them. Now i guess i need to try them out.
Beautiful pencil work.
I love your videos you are so talented , continue like that you will make 1 mil
Thank you and I hope so 😃
This reminds me of my ink drawing from art class at high school many years ago.
Great video once again Kirsty, love your painting 🥰😍😘
I think it's a beautiful drawing, Kirsty. Granted, in the beginning I wasn't too sure about the background but you pulled it off beautifully, as always. I'm very happy you reviewed these pencils because I was wondering about them, had those on my Christmas list, but I got a Stabillo All instead. No particular reason, I just liked how they performed on several mix media tutorials and it's easy to carry around with a water pen for a quick sketch. Have you used the Stabillo All at all? What's your view on those?
Kristy, can you try some charcoal on your Rhino drawing to achieve the darks, but only sparingly on a very few places- this may really make it pop if it can take the charcoal on top of the graphite.
Hi kirsty can you please make a video on how to draw buzzed hair cause I’ve been trying to learn and find videos on this but I can’t seem to find any
This looks fantastic
These are good for graphite underpaintings on full graphite pieces. They work best as underlayers with normal graphite on top.
What is your favorite piece of art that you have ever done? Also, this piece is amazing!
It's still good...the final result looks really amazing...and I think the way you used white paint to get the highlights, you could have used black paint or anything to achieve those dark shades. Right? Please correct me if I'm wrong ...
The difference between the wet and dry color really surprised me but you still did a really a great job
I love working with aquarel graphite it does amazing
What would make a big difference for me is to know if it can erase like regular graphite, especially if it was still erasable after being wet and dried back down.
Amazinggg, you're really talented!
I love it but pls make a video about what materials you recommend for beginners
I found derwent sketching like this one today 😊😊 really happy i saw your vidéo before so i know they exist 😂
Hey so cool and awesome work
Nice new and easy way for painting black and white
I generally am not a fan of pencils, I'd much rather use water soluble ink for on scene sketches or watercolor. It just takes so much effort to get a real black with pencil (like 10x longer) versus being able to blend out ink or watercolor for mid-tones. The shiny part is also just not for me, was hoping these pencils might be a good Urban Sketching option.
For first, whenn I saw water graphite pencils,I thought,it is nonsense.
Yet,I see that they are very nice, and surprise good work
Sorry for my english,I am Czech👊💟💟💟
Thank you Kirsty 👒👑
Die would not give up on the graphite Aquarell. I think they are a cool medium. I plan to your this method with my graphite framing for backgrounds.
Hi, Loves the video. I enjoy working with watersoluble graphite myself. I use another brand: derwent. Most of the times I use these pencils in combination with inkt.
Can you do a video on using a 12pk or 24pk coloured pencils because I want to see how I could use the pencils to create skin tones.
YES NEW UPLOAD TYY KRISTY LY
Just wanted to say that your supreme art awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge .By doing what you love you inspire and awaken the hearts of others. Have a great week(Good Friday is coming). Also once again I am the first to comment. 😊😊
I got these too and actually have no idea what to create with them. Excited to hear your opinion on these :)
You are my all time best painter.YOU ARE THE BEST
When she said it wasn't my favorite 😲🙆
This is a master piece i like every single artwork you do you just have hight sence of how to draw and how to add details and make it looks so real 👌❤
I hope one day i will be like you i know it is impossible but i hope 😂😂
I think you did marvellous..with these I think you should work the opposite way around..When I colour with pencils I find that easier but I drew for many years before starting to colour as I like Graphite..I think a lot of people get a pencil and automatically they draw loose ..my first lines are..but then I build from light to dark ..try that way before giving up on them ..they work well with inks too 😀
Excellent review. Thank you.
I love this picture.
Thank you for your tutorials. Would you please do a tutorial drawing chrome with using just graphite pencils? Your pencil drawings are the best.
I really love your drawings and I wish I can draw like your drawings
there is no shine when i use this product, at least it isn’t noticeable to me (ive used this a lost) also these do lift similarly to watercolors. also LIGHT TO DARK!! you want to go from the lightest value to darkest value.
Have you ever tried water brushing charcoal? It kinda works like that and gets way darker.
Make a tutorial on graphite pencil
Omg I love your work 😊🥰keep up the good work
Great work by the way 😉
I REALLY REALLY WANT THAT PENCILS 😍😂
What candles do you like to light when doing art?
They are the home inspiration from Yankee candle
My favourite is the Yankee candle candy cane forest! 💕
Just hoping this will help drive the video with the algorithm! You always make such terrific videos Thank You! I also want to ask if you have skillshare classes? I did go there but could not find any classes from you. What am I doing wrong?
You are amazing! Love your videos!
Thank you 😊
Nice review and drawings
Really enjoyed this painting seriously:):)
Really Amazing 😍😍
Wowzie have never heard of them before. Yay. Love it thanks for doing this one. Going to have to save my pennies get it just poor right now. Oh thanks again just love your videos. ❤😍😎💓
Would you be able to draw in graphite and and paint the background with acrylic paint?
nice tute. i would not do the background like that with the small brush. do you watch makoccino??? introduction looks the same. lol. anyhow i recommend her channel to your viewers.
Hi!I color with normal color pencil everyday but I cant repeat lots of layers on them and the layer is not clear.what should I do to improve it?please help me.
Beautiful
I'm really inspired by your art 😊😊
Once it dried completely, does it smudge at all like a regular graphite does?
I had the same struggles with these pencils, and they quickly ended up in my drawers, never to be used again... The idea is good, but like you said, they become a bit flat and dull once they dry up :/
EifosArt I just checked out your channel and subscribed. Your art is amazing.
Can u please do a video on how to preserve artwork for all mediums
I love your art! I hope I will be as good as you one day!
Excellent info about the Pencil Set I have also just purchased, which meant it was brilliant for me to be able to see them actually in use and also what another person thinks to the product too! Is there an actual set of water soluble graphite pencils that you would recommend?
I love drawing too keep up the Awesome work
?
where do you find inspiration for your artwork? I am trying to get into the habit of keeping up with a sketchbook every day but I find it so difficult to find inspiration to create unique art within my sketchbook. any ideas?
Hey i wanted to know a little bit about the blending solution for color pencil. Is it available in amazon? I couldn’t find it from any source to ship in India. What is its composition? Any other ideas to use instead of that solution, incase i don't get it?
Great work
Love from INDIA... 💖
I would like to see someone not just use water on every water soluble type of pencil but use the actual pencil as well
Superb ❤ Work & Explain, 😊✌,..
kirsty staedtler do a non shiny graphite pencil set i think they are called mars lumograph black
Really nice
beautiful work
good work , but, i do think that there are too many unecessary highlights like the grass and on the side of his face (but it was a good try to rise the contrast between your darkest dark and you highlights), values could've been better defined, unfutunately that was impossible bc of the materials, still a good video. I could learn a little more about watercolor x graphite. thnks
ps: i do really like your realistic painting style
Yeah I think I went a bit overboard with the highlights too 😂 yeah I hated that I couldn’t raise the contrast even more with these pencils!
Wow your drawing was better than I thought it would be
Nice testing video !!
