this is not new. I remember this same thing every year since back in 2000. these are so bad in nevada you wouldnt even believe it. cars were sliding in the dead bugs on the hwy.

deastroying habitats and killing of all animals
then crickets ,locusts ,grasshoppers etc will overpopulate cause normaly theyr a lot of predators eating them but now theyr non or not enough
humans then generally think they can fix everythign with spraying poison
forgetting that insects get imuine to it quite quickly
the poison then kills a few but kills way more other animals and makes the plants etc sick too
making even more crickets in the next year

I like how they always list everywhere around Wyoming but don’t mention Wyoming. It was the Seagulls that inhabited the Sweetwater and Platte river junction areas that saved the Mormon settlers’ crops from being wiped out in Central/Western Wyoming around the time of the Oregon and Bozeman Trails.

Just drove from Nevada, those crickets are huge and everywhere. I thought they were baby frogs at first. They're all every rest stop and shoulder in Nevada on I 80. Couldn't even finish my jumprope workout because they're so bold, they jump right up on you

These are not crickets neither grasshoppers but all are lucasts. These are a terrible disaster worse than the crickets because they can eat out all your crops or harvests through just a overnight !!
