I have been looking for something like this for my product videos and photos and other creative stuff but man it is expensive the microfogger is way less but still expensive too. hmm...

Hey Dave thanks for leaving a comment! Yes things like endurance performance and overheat protection are costly design features. These are to counter the high-stress working environments in filmmaking.
Other machines try reduce costs by only focusing on making smoke and compromise on failsafe features, that sort of explains the price difference.
If you simply just want an occasional puff of smoke here and there as an effect, we suggest to look into some DIY tutorials on RUclips; Some are quite well taught and should cost way less than $100. Happy making!
