- Exactly two years ago I released The Doodle House.
To celebrate this anniversary, I have made 'The Doodle House (Doodle Edition)'.
Featuring a recreation of the original audio track, mostly using doodle noises from my mouth.
I’m sure this video will get recommended to a bunch of people 7 years later

This is somehow amazing and terrifying at the same time
The amount of precision and confidence needed to draw such bold, consistent strokes, at the rate at which it was made. Covering the huge surface area as well. I read one of the comments that stated how Mr Doodle ended up breaking down in the middle of the process (unsurprising given the scale of the work), and it makes me wonder how any of us would fare in such an undertaking.
This is also factoring in the stop motion aspect, that would have surely increased the time crunch pressure on this (keeping in mind that the outdoor shot would have probably required filming over multiple days to get the motion just right.)
The silly, lighthearted tone and presentation merely is a foil for the absolute struggle to complete an undertaking of this magnitude. 4000 spray cans, 200000 permanent markers, 2 years.
A house covered in doodles that would make Keith Haring blush. Beautiful.
I'm always stupefied by the amount of surface Mr. Doodle can cover and the mastery of his lines, the consistency of his drawings when they coexist with each other in the narrow spaces of a canvas or the very large spaces of an entire house.
