    What a irony! 55 years ago, we could easily go to the moon, but today we can’t even go to and from the space station at any time.

      You will need to donate NASA enough money to figure out how to fake it careful enough to fool people with today's technology.

      You should learn the difference between "can't" and "haven't".
      A supersonic commercial airline jet doesn't exist today. The Concorde was the last commercial jet that operated at supersonic speeds, and it was retired in 2003. Does that mean it didn't exist? Your argument is patently stupid. Your argument is basically the same as saying the 1956 Chevy was fake and never existed because we don't make them anymore.

      Because getting to the moon was neither a scientific nor an exploratory mission. It was political.
      At the time of the cold war there was nothing more important than beating the USSR.
      After "Glasnost" there has been neither the political incentive nor the money to continue. Simple!

      Incorrect. The delay is present throughout their conversation. You hear the appropriate delay whenever the astronauts respond to Nixon, but obviously not when Nixon replies to the astronauts.

      Over more than 10 years, Project Apollo involved 400,000 people working at major contractors such as Boeing, North American Aviation, Douglas Aircraft Company, IBM, Motorola and MIT University. Converted to today, the costs were 217 billion dollars.
      After Apollo 11 there were 5 more other landings.

    • @Boxagami
      @Boxagami 2 месяца назад +2

      @@wimkuijpers1342 Yet, at NASA Houston and I've been to the place several times, the moon landing is not even a focal point of the place. In fact, it's barely mentioned. The main focus is the space shuttle missions. For such a great achievement it's quite strange.

      @@Boxagami after Apollo 17, NASA had to pivot quickly for Skylab, the shuttle, the ISS. They fully restored the Apollo program mission control to what it was like during the Apollo program. I think that’s a little bit more than “barely mentioned”

    • @Boxagami
      @Boxagami 2 месяца назад

      @@erac5855 lol, okay... People will believe whatever they're told to believe and not question anything or the elephant in the room. Again, if we went to the moon, then it was a great achievement not be left and forgotten. NASA cannot even rebuild the space shuttle again. They've admitted to this! A moon base would have allowed them more and achieved way more over the past 50 years than this direction they went instead. Again, not focusing on the moon as a base from which to work from is questionable to say the least. I'm 53, I watched all those shuttle missions and the ISS is past retirement. China is going to do what the U.S. should have done and that's build a base on the moon and they will be the first! They already have the starting stages of space station that's brand new. The ISS only has a few years left.

      There is a world of information literally at your fingertips. If you really wanted an answer to your question, you would look it up, instead of using terms like 'fake moon'. You would research the MESA assembly on the lunar module descent stage, which contained the Westinghouse video camera on Apollo 11, and learn how it was deployed and activated. But of course, you won't.
