I don't usually address negative comments but there is something I need to make clear. For anyone who thinks this performance lacks "emotion" because I didn't "sing it like Sia," you should know my main purpose on this channel is to stay true to the myself as an artist and inspire others to do the same. There can only be one Sia and she is amazing, but as you’ll see in all of my covers I have my own way of expressing myself vocally, and I am happy to be me and sing in my own style. Ignore all negative comments not many people can cover a Sia song for a reason. You nailed it, NOT by singing it like her but singing it your way and still hitting strong notes. People that send you negative comments absolutely forget the perception that this is called a cover for a reason. You did amazingly and thats no smoke blown. You literally gave me chills girl.

What you hear is layered and amplified vocals to create a fuller effect of the voice. I think the "autotune" you hear is audio splices that caused a waver in pitch.

This Version is somehow the cleaner version. I'm not a music genius or anything but I think she hit the right notes. However on my opinion the vocal imperfections sia put on this song add so much awesomeness~ But good cover though~

Actually, this version sounds more clear because sia has a very dark and raspy voice which makes her songs so special and unique. She uses more terms but I don't know what they're called..... I forget

+willthesongdoc I'm not sure if there is autotune but I know that any professional singer uses autotune and it's not a bad thing. They post covers for people to enjoy, not to brag and boast about their voice and how good it is. People need to calm down. Autotune or not, it's still great.

I am aware alot of people use pitch correction (auto-tune) but please, dont claim she is an amazing singer.. Because.. And this is just my opinion: Great singers don't require pitch correction.
But besides all this, she sings very well and she was unique in the way she perfomed this song.
