    Thanks very much Dan. Took up sledding last year at 50. Your videos have been incredibly helpful and saved me a lot of frustration in figuring it out and getting off the trails. Watched them all many times and they have been invaluable. Keep up the awesome work. Very much appreciated. 👍

    Dan, thanks for the info. You nailed it with the heated glove. As we get older, the circulation starts to drop. Great for the cold trail back.

    settle down people. Of course he's going to recommend Klim gear. He's not doing a comparison video between manufactures. And, we all know Klim is top of the line and you get what you pay for in this world. How many of us have 10 pairs of $50 gloves that are all junk and 1 pair of $150-$200 gloves that are our go-to pair worth wearing?

    • @PartTimeYooper
      @PartTimeYooper 2 года назад +1

      Klim brands itself as top of the line but many of their products are far from industry leading...especially in quality lately. TOBE makes arguably better gear in almost every category, especially gloves.
      Unfortunately Klim has spent way more in marketing than improving quality in last 3 years.

    I dont understand why you needed heated gloves for the backside of your hand when every sled today has amazing hand warmers. I'd rather use a thin glove and feel the bar heat than mess with battery powered gloves. Oh and at 1/3rd to half the price, you can have multiple pairs to keep your hands dry!

    • @NextLevelRidingClinics
      @NextLevelRidingClinics  2 года назад

      Good question. These gloves have elements to just heat the backside of your hand while leaving the palm thinner for more dexterity and heat transfer from the heated grips.

      It will be harder to do a lot of the things but once you learn on older heavier machine, I believe it makes you a better rider. Remember also is go out to have fun. No matter what you are riding. There is times I miss the older sleds because you can make easier country more challenging, if that makes sense.

    Klim gear sucks 100% and their warranty department and process is even more painful, I am so tired of dealing with bad gear. My coat and avalanche bag is with them right now and the run around and incompetency I have had to deal with is mind boggling. It is like you are starting fresh with them every time you talk to them. I so badly wish it was not so bad but it is, all I want to do is enjoy my limited time on the mountains but no I cannot!

      Hey bud as I explain in the start of the video I do ride for Klim. I’d hesitate to use the term “bought by them” since it was my choice to work with them over 10 years ago. The gear….in my opinion is very good but I do point out that there are other companies out there making really good options as well. One of the coolest things about having representation with various brands is the ability to help make changes… and Klim has been very receptive to my ideas over the years. Lots of videos out there with other creators and their opinions….this is just another one. 👍 Ride safe
