Hi, what is the difference between Klim snow helmets vs moto helmets? I have purchased f3 carbon pro for motocross use but realized that it is the snow series? Not sure whether I need to return it.
Will the F5 visor fit the F3 shell? I am getting the F3 Pro, but I like the F5 visor shape better. I am not into Batman/Star Wars art. :) Thank you. Doug in Michigan
I trail ride with the 2019 F3. I combine it with the arctic balaclava, windstopper liner, breath box and Oculus goggles. I like how it performs, very little, if any complaints from me.
The rule of thumb used to be, after a hard hit to the head. The energy absorption material will crush, even if the shell is not cracked, and not be able to absorb as much energy again in that spot. Maybe some materials will degrade after 20 years, (for example of long time), but I doubt it. If you got Knocked Out, I am sure you would want to replace it. :)

It will not fit.
The fit lock was the biggest game changer
Is it warm enough for col wide open trail ridding assume the f3 would be the best but is it warm enough with a attic Balaclava
We think so! It has great venting when sweating in the trees but plenty warm with a balaclava on the trails.

Hey guys, do helmets expire? Meaning how often should one consider replacing their helmet?
Check with the Manufacturer
