@@solongdentahlplaan7975 Yeah, in High School everyone has their own problems, and ignores everyone else's problems. I was pretty good grade wise, but social wise I was completely drowning.
I've always been the opposite of everyone else, they craved the social stuff and only did the work to stay in sports and clubs. I did the work so I wouldn't have to deal with people trying to convince me to make friends and join things. I'm more of a loner and an introvert; nothing wrong with that I guess.

Like, I saw the movie when it was new, and it's just hammering in how old I feel and I'm getting lol
(Almost forgot, What does this film, Hackers, and Mortal Kombat (1995) all have in common? They all use the track "Halcyon On and On" from Oribital, and MK and this both use it at the end of the film as emotional wrap up, plus it's just a great song altogether,)

Janice Ian throughout the movie says she's originally from Lebanon. So at the end of the Spring Fling dance Kevin G. is dancing with Janice when Kevin asks if she's Puerto Rican. To which she relies she's Lebanese. Janice was picked on by Regina at young age by calling her a "lesbian." A rumor she keeps up till the events of the movie.
Literally the entire plot of this movie happens because Regina associated the word Lebanese with being a Lesbian!

Did this man make a profile on a dating app back in the day searching for a woman who had devoted her life to not watching a single movie until she had a home theater or something? This is a match made in heaven.

Tina Fey was the head writer for SNL for a while. Comedy gold.

I've said this before on others who react to this movie. I hate how everyone turned Lindsey's character. When the school turned her into the monster she became.

I was surprised I liked this too when I watched it. Lohan, McAdams, Seyfried and Chabert were entertaining along with the SNL players Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer and Amy Poehler. Tim Meadows aka Dr. Steven Poop is underrated. The Ladies Man is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I remember first time I watched it it was shown in school, as it really was a pretty relatable and engaging movie that showed the effects of cliques and bullying. But it was so iconic that it became a cult classic instantly.

My daughter told me that she sometimes ate in the bathroom when she young. If you're being ostracized or bullied, you just want to have a few moments of peace...and cry a little where nobody can see you.

True story: I watched this movie for the first time while on a flight from the USA back to Europe, during the "night phase" of the flight and when the bus hit Regina I screamed out loud. I'm pretty sure that my section of the plane was not happy with me at that moment!
