I've always been the opposite of everyone else, they craved the social stuff and only did the work to stay in sports and clubs. I did the work so I wouldn't have to deal with people trying to convince me to make friends and join things. I'm more of a loner and an introvert; nothing wrong with that I guess.

I'm so glad Jen enjoyed this movie. I can't remember which reaction video it was but I remember right before you started watching, Holden had mentioned Mean Girls and Jen said she had never seen it. Not only had she never seen it but she was completely shocked that Holden had seen it and loved it. That moment blew me away. This movie is one of my favorite all time comedies ever. It's one of the most quotable movies too. I can't even tell you how many times I've rewatched this movie.

Highly recommend you watch Rachel McAdams' unofficial husband time traveller trilogy: - The Time Traveler's Wife - Midnight in Paris - About Time About Time is one of my all time favourites! Directed by Richard Curtis. Bill Nighy is absolutely wonderful and also features Margot Robbie and General Hux!
I didnt even think of that as a trilogy lol. About time is such a good movie and I love that it's a love story you dont typically see. I dont want to say for spoilers sake but it's just very loving.
If you guys are looking for another great comedy movie I highly recommend We’re the Millers. Jason sudekis, Jennifer Anniston, and the rest of the cast are hilarious!
I can't believe this movie is now old enough to get a remake were most of the main cast weren't alive when the original was made (It's like the equivalent of a 80's movie getting remade in the early 2000's). Like, I saw the movie when it was new, and it's just hammering in how old I feel and I'm getting lol (Almost forgot, What does this film, Hackers, and Mortal Kombat (1995) all have in common? They all use the track "Halcyon On and On" from Oribital, and MK and this both use it at the end of the film as emotional wrap up, plus it's just a great song altogether,)

The first time I saw any part of this movie was when Cady comes down the stairs, my Wife (then girlfriend) was recovering in the hospital after becoming paralyzed. She looked at the TV then looked at me watching the scene and gave me a look like “I bet you like that.” It was at that time I realized everything would be okay and the girl I fell in love with was still there. Marriage and two beautiful babies later and this movie still holds a large place in my heart.
Holden mentioned that a lot of guys watched this movie after it came out and I can say that that was true with my friends too. Whenever we were bored of playing xbox we'd just put on mean girls cuz why not

I agree also as Jen said, that the jokes don’t feel forced. I hate it when jokes are just there for the sake of getting a petty laugh moment. But none of that is really here is in this movie. So many iconic lines from this film my favorite has to be when Karen say’s she sick and Regina responds with, “Boo, you wh0re!” 😂

The one thing I never get is that Tim Meadows is frickin’ hilarious but rarely ever gets bigger comedy roles. Maybe it’s his choice to do smaller characters (and be behind the scenes w/ SNL). I’m glad Tina Fey brought him on board for this movie

Rachel McAdams' first film was The Animal (2001) with Rob Schneider but Mean Girls and Notebook was her catapult into stardom. I am Canadian and McAdams' has been my crush for sometime, glad she stays true and hasn't sold out and remains a real talent. Great reaction!! I also recommend Red Eye (2005) with McAdams. One of my favourite thrillers and it's directed by Wes Craven as well.

Tina Fey went to my HS ( think she was class of 88 ) I was in HS when this movie came out an I remember she was doing a 60 minutes or 2020 interview at our school because she used her experience going to our school to write this movie… so I remember the morning of the principal came over the loudspeaker and was going his spiel about “ I expect you all to act like mature young adults” then in 3rd block full swing of lunch, in a school with 3 thousand students but Kids we’re runing through the shot when this lady was trying to do a serious interview and she looked like she was getting mugged or something but Tina was just chillin in the chair an was like ( no this is normal youll he alight 😂 Upper Darby High School is not know for our chill ) so they did the interview with a student running past or Popping their head in every 30 seconds 😂 she’s like just roll with it 🤷🏻♂️ that’s why I rock with Tina Fey, + her PA accent is 100% on point even tho she lost it years ago when she moved…. Janice Ian throughout the movie says she's originally from Lebanon. So at the end of the Spring Fling dance Kevin G. is dancing with Janice when Kevin asks if she's Puerto Rican. To which she relies she's Lebanese. Janice was picked on by Regina at young age by calling her a "lesbian." A rumor she keeps up till the events of the movie. Literally the entire plot of this movie happens because Regina associated the word Lebanese with being a Lesbian!
My middle school took our class to see this for a field trip and tried to get us to leave halfway through because none of them had screened it prior lmao

I was surprised I liked this too when I watched it. Lohan, McAdams, Seyfried and Chabert were entertaining along with the SNL players Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer and Amy Poehler. Tim Meadows aka Dr. Steven Poop is underrated. The Ladies Man is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I remember first time I watched it it was shown in school, as it really was a pretty relatable and engaging movie that showed the effects of cliques and bullying. But it was so iconic that it became a cult classic instantly.
My daughter told me that she sometimes ate in the bathroom when she young. If you're being ostracized or bullied, you just want to have a few moments of peace...and cry a little where nobody can see you.
True story: I watched this movie for the first time while on a flight from the USA back to Europe, during the "night phase" of the flight and when the bus hit Regina I screamed out loud. I'm pretty sure that my section of the plane was not happy with me at that moment!

Janice Ian throughout the movie says she's originally from Lebanon. So at the end of the Spring Fling dance Kevin G. is dancing with Janice when Kevin asks if she's Puerto Rican. To which she relies she's Lebanese. Janice was picked on by Regina at young age by calling her a "lesbian." A rumor she keeps up till the events of the movie.
Literally the entire plot of this movie happens because Regina associated the word Lebanese with being a Lesbian!
My middle school took our class to see this for a field trip and tried to get us to leave halfway through because none of them had screened it prior lmao

I was surprised I liked this too when I watched it. Lohan, McAdams, Seyfried and Chabert were entertaining along with the SNL players Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer and Amy Poehler. Tim Meadows aka Dr. Steven Poop is underrated. The Ladies Man is a guilty pleasure of mine.

My daughter told me that she sometimes ate in the bathroom when she young. If you're being ostracized or bullied, you just want to have a few moments of peace...and cry a little where nobody can see you.

True story: I watched this movie for the first time while on a flight from the USA back to Europe, during the "night phase" of the flight and when the bus hit Regina I screamed out loud. I'm pretty sure that my section of the plane was not happy with me at that moment!
