cool trick to do to these kind of crawlers. take the axles out drill through the final drive gear into the axle with a 1/16 bit then take small screws and screw them through the gear into the axle BOOM locked fulltime and you get no clipping of the front and rear final drive gears and it crawls and goes slow over obstacles WAYYYYYYYYY better
That's a great tip! Sadly, as soon as I was done making this video, my kids threw the truck into the air (I have no idea why) and the rear axle completely broke and I wasn't able to repair it )c:
I'm happy to hear that you are getting so much from it. I too enjoyed it, but when it broke, and I did replace it, and that one broke too, it shows me there a quality issue. To be fair: my four boys are hard on their toys. That's for the view and thanks for sharing!
this is exact replica of the Burnout Buggy. Same 4x4, 2 motor, wheel size..etc. i have the burnout buggy and its been good going through hills, grass, sidewalks but its just one speed. overall good for the money and cant be mad at that. i recently upgraded to WLToys models. which are little more hobby grade but still won't break the bank.
That is true, but it has power. IMO, it could benefit from proportional steering and throttle too. But, for my (at the time) 6/7 yr old, he thought it was the bees knees! Thank you for the comment and the view.
I'm not sure of that answer. We didn't have it long enough for me to do anything with it. After my kids threw it in the air and broke the axel, that was the end of that. I'm sure as long as the connector is the same, it wouldn't hurt the electronics. Thanks for the question and the view!
I'm sorry about your shocks! I'm not sure either about parts. My kids broke this one, and I couldn't find any spare parts. I have been told in other comments that there is a wpltoys equivalent - I'm sure there would be spare parts for that model. Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you for the view; however no, there are no replacement parts. I had to get rid of mine too, my boys broke the front wheel. The part was molded plastic and there was no fixing it )c:
Hi, I came to RUclips hoping to troubleshoot this RC. My son received it for Christmas and it ran well for the first couple of weeks. Recently he hasn't been able to get it to charge. I unfortunately no longer have the User Manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm sorry to hear that this is happening. Is the battery internal (meaning, built into the truck) or does it have a battery pack and power cable? If it's not charging, and the battery is internal, then there isn't much you can do. This is the problem I had with the Jada Toys GI JOE Vamp, and it rendered the GI JOE truck useless. If it has a battery pack that won't charge, it could be an issue with the charging cable (bad fuse, bad connection) or an issue with the outlet or power adapter. Have you tried using different power adapters, like different cell phone chargers to plug it into? Even USB outlets may not have enough AMPS to push power through the cable. I hope that this helped you, or at least point you in the right direction. Sadly, I no longer have this truck (and it was a good truck) as my kids broke it while throwing it around the yard. )c: Thank you for the view.
@@cplctoyz their in storage but I have some old 80s-90s tyco/niko rcs. The super rebound, the mutator truck, the Hi-jacker lamborghini, a dirt bike I need to use my rebound remote for as I got it without the remote (same frequency), an alien racer (the one with the skeleton gut inside when the body pops up via button on controller.) A 9v 05 civic hatchback (gave the identical 6v version to my eldest which he quickly broke. Both have working headlights), a team losi mini I scored from a goodwill years ago for only $4 (looked brand new, but guess they had no idea it was an rc, because of its small size. I got it inside a bag with other random toys. It's an older model that used a chip, new ones have them built in I think). No battery, remote or chip (this particular store LOVED to sell everything separately (any rc remotes were on a back wall far away from the vehicles they belonged too, so unless you were knowledgeable, good luck finding it. Did same if donated with a charger or battery. They separated everything.) . But had it tested at a hobby shop. It works and is fast as hell. A 100% japanese made Nissan Skyline GTR with working headlights and tails complete with blinkers (it's small.) And a radioshack 8 wheel (reminds me of the tyco scorcher I once had growing up. But smaller and 2 additional wheels) car but no charger or remote for it. But I googled it, it's super rare (One I have is in very good condition). My youngest Son has a monster truck like fj cruiser (niko I think) but we misplaced it's remote (it's somewhere, just not sure where exactly), that has working headlights. He broke my similar hummer h2 I had. Anyway, we bought this very car yesterday (he did with his bday money) though not bad for the price, they claim high speed, when it's not all that fast. And that at half throttle (does absolutely NOTHING!) You can go partial speed or full throttle for full speed. As you stated in your own review, it's all or nothing. Sadly they don't build them like they used too. Like the 80s-90s tycos and nikos, instead charge more today for less. He got it, cuz on his bday, his friend got him (same company makes it. Amax group) the power craze Dune 24 (it's small box doesn't say scale) which is a 2wd dune buggy. Anyway, friend said it was $10 from walmart. For $10 it is VERY good. Very fast for its small size. Claims 4x4 suspension however front wheels don't have suspension only the rear wheels do. In fact one of the front wheels is sorta whobbley right out the box, with no way to exactly tighten it. Remote has a button for 2 speeds. Beginner (which isn't much slower) and expert. Has working headlights and tails. Charging is about an hour, and you'll get like 15 mins out of it. Also has digital steering adjustment via controller and comes with a set of additional tires (for indoor use) that are softer and grippier. (not recommended for outdoor use because of their softness). Anyway, that's a hell of a value for only $10. It is hard to keep straight since it's very spunky for its size, and tends to do unintended donuts most the time. Lol But the $60 one in this review, from the same company. And it doesn't come with lights or dual speed mode? Doesn't make any sense.
Great question: it has two motors, one on each axle. It really gives it great power in grass and off road conditions. However, the tires are too stiff, the steering is slow and the lack of proportional controls are a huge shortcoming for rock climbing or bigger obstacles. I appreciate you watching the video, thank you!
I am sorry, I dont know. I purchased this truck at Target. Perhaps you could start there. I've also seen them at wal-mart under their own brand name. Good luck toy hunting!
Thank you for watching. It was a great car for what it was, but it was on the fragile side. I no longer have it because my kids broke it. For Christmas, ironically enough, I got one of my kids the Adventure Force version but it had the same issues, and that one broke too.
Great review! This is a rebranded Wltoys 104310 model. The Wltoys version is $10 more but it comes with proportional throttle and steering.
Thank you for the kind words!
Marty you are right and I didn't even notice that haha good eye my man!!
I thought that controller looked familiar.
WOW! Such a huge 1/10 scale! There is also an rc rock force II

Honestly I love mine , got it for 40$ from a buddy and it’s stood all the abuse over the last few months , only complaint I have is battery life

I feel that with better shocks, battery and different tires this could be a great crawler
Agreed! Apparently this is a downgraded Wltoys truck. Somewhere in these comments is the model number.
Thanks for the video I just found on target California for sale on $24
No problem! Glad you found a great deal

Agreed. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed the vid!
I just got this today!!
Enjoy!
I haven’t used mine in a year I started to try to use it but what should I do if the front motor starts smoking?
This rc car is very fun but the only problem is it’s not very fast but overall looks sturdy but not that fast
That is true, but it has power. IMO, it could benefit from proportional steering and throttle too. But, for my (at the time) 6/7 yr old, he thought it was the bees knees! Thank you for the comment and the view.
Its a good car with good suspension and direction
Yes, I agree. I was quite surprised by how well this truck drove. Thank you for watching!
Can I replace the original battery with a Urgenex 7.4V 2000 mah battery?
I'm not sure of that answer. We didn't have it long enough for me to do anything with it. After my kids threw it in the air and broke the axel, that was the end of that. I'm sure as long as the connector is the same, it wouldn't hurt the electronics. Thanks for the question and the view!
New subscriber. Good Review!
Just got this car yesterday.
Thanks for the sub!
I just bought the Blue version of this. The only real disappointment is this thing is severely underpowered. But way better built than New Bright..
Yes, I totally agree. Thank you for the view!
I got one from saber and I am trying to fix it the controler is gone and I am looking for replacements
Google Amax Brands (It's on bottom of box.)
Just wondering where to get replacement parts for this. I have one but one of the shocks broke.

How fast does it go
Thanks for the view and the great question. This is only a guess, but I would say probably about 8-10mph.
@@cplctoyz np thanks 👍
Awesome rc car I have the same thing
Thank you, I hope you liked the video. Much appreciated that you took the time to watch.
Does anyone know if there is replacement parts? My son has one and a wheel broke off

There’s literally a wheel in the back top of the car just use that
I love the one I got but camo warped
Nice! Thanks so much for watching!
What about battery life, how much play time you get out of this?
Honestly, the only time I ran it was filming this review. The truck broke in the 2nd run so I really have no idea how long it lasts.
I've used the hell out of mind so far and I would say you get about 20-25 minutes.
Where did you buy it from
Target
How do you charge it 🤦♀️😭
Is the car waterproof?
Thanks for the view. Sadly, no it's not.

Try a new charging cable? Google Amax Brands (It's on bottom of box.)
Can it go in water
Nope!
Hey, Can it drive in sand?
Thanks for the view. I don't know. My kids broke it on our first test drive.
Hey I got this car and it is soooo AWSOME IM GETTING A CORVETTE and I will have 5 RC CARS
I enjoyed my time with it as well. It's a great off road truck! Thanks for watching (c:
Can't find a decent RC car at Wal-Mart or target ..got to go to a hobby shop or online to get a good one.
I couldn't agree more. I miss the old Niko and Tyco days. Always a new, fun car/truck each year. Tha k you so much for watching!

Name of toy where i can buy in canada please?

It has a red light of death no reset button
Its an adventure force knock off guarantee u smoke the steering servo fast. I did also these cars are wl toys

If anything adventure force is the knock off of rock force. But both are kids toys not actual crawlers. You can reinforce them.
Glue the bigfoot back together
Thanks for the view. I did glue it back together, however, the next sharp bump and it fell apart again.
@@cplctoyz np id use hot glue
I'm just kidding but I have it i just got to wait until Christmas but it looks cool
Right now
