I would eat my own shoe if you served it in black bean sauce. LOL Another great video. Honestly, I am amazed at how you guys drag kitchens into such austere environments. As a fellow professional chef I have to tip my hat to the man willing and able to cook such amazing food in such difficult conditions. And I am so happy to hear your daughter is healthy.
Amen to that bud 🙏 get your self a lil duel burner grill and a few butane tanks so you can start cooking up meals on your camping adventures! Wallmart makes it pretty easy and affordable now days
I really like these videos where you take people out who haven’t really had good luck catching fish. It’s fun to see their confidence grow. And it’s nice when they can cook something delicious lol. Took a break from fishing videos for a while, no real reason, and I forgot how chill and relaxing yours are. You’re still the Bob Ross of fishing!
Our son got sick last year. We had to be at mayo for a month. But, he is about 8 months from being fully off medicine and 100% back to normal. It is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do, watch your kids be sick. So happy your daughter is healthy again. And prayers everything keeps going good for you and your family.
Dang Matts you can't beat that kitchen view just epic bro. OMG that dish that Calvin made is legit bro. Anyways stay safe out there and have a blessed day. Aloha from Kansas
Calvin.. that was an incredible meal, and cooked on the cliff like that.. ohh man! I know the view made it even better. Thanks for the recipe, I screen shot it and will be making that for dinner. Thanks for the info about not seasoning the fish, before cooking. I too wondered..
Matt you beat me to it 😂 I’ve been wanting to make a video with this recipe cause when you get this in the restaurants, they never give you enough fish!!! Great video!!
Matts Absolutely loved this one especially the Cook part with the recipe. What a gorgeous area. You truly are blessed too live along the coast. Fish On brother! K.T.
Chinese food on the rocks and a heck of a view! Love the vids and im going to try this recipe! and congrats on the lil one (daughter) my daughter caught her first(fish) brown trout this year! more to come! she loves your videos bro!!!!
When you rockfish, we do rock fish. Don't ask why we thinning out the herd cuz we going to target rockfish for the cook now Absolutely fun times with yet another simple dish. We want more of them back to basics.
Yeah Matts!!!!! A while back when you were doing an underwater camera shore fishing episode, I mentioned you should get one of those castable fish finders (you got the exact model I was thinking of), and you replied that you were thinking exactly that! I love it!
Bobbers are such an underrated method. I started using them around 10 years ago, mainly in the fresh water after seeing fly fisherman using them for trout .Great saltwater application you're using.
Looked good !! Even with the small fish it looked like it was plenty of food. Wish I could walk and climb again, I see so many good-looking spots along the coast!
I'm requesting for hot pot rockfish. They sell the seasoning at them azn market for hot pot. Simple dish. Add packet add water n dunk your fillet. Bring them thick noodles in package to dip that into your hotpot too. Yum
i go to my local chinese food spot and just get black bean sauce or general tso sauce for like $3 and use it for some fresh caught fish . easy and delicious
Nice haha. I just picked an older used Deeper fish finder too. Excited to go use it next week on that one lake in the middle of nowhere you fished last year
That place looks really good for crab snaring; it's probably filled with rock crabs. Also, I really enjoy your videos, and I'm a big fan. Fishing is so fun! One day I want to do a catch & cook, so far I've always released my fish. Also, bring back the jetty fishing videos! I miss the epic crab snaring/lingcod fighting. PS I'm the 123rd liker on this video.
Flourocarbon for rockfish ... measuring the legnth of a fish 2" at a time with a transit compass ... using a pocket knofe to filet a fish ... that's jumping the shark Dinner looked good
You also need to add white pepper, salt, and oil to marinate the fish filets before you fry them. And use Thai pepper instead of Jalapeno if you want to make it spicy, Jalapeno will make your dish looks like American Chinese food.
15feet deep..try using your fishing rod to get the length right- 9.5 ft rod end to end almost twice is almost easier. or can always make the rod. Nice video once again.
If you had enough water, you could also do a simple fish stock with the fish carcass(es), add the remainder of the veggies and end up with a nice, simple fish soup, you know... to lead-into (or finish) your meal. Even better since we're headed into the colder months now.

That's what I was thinking -- I'd rather be eating on that rock than in a restaurant.
Stop saying bro so much and if you’re in Kansas don’t say aloha, shits disrespectful to us Hawaiians.
Thank you so much for the pictures on the side it was actually really helpful for me to understand here in bc it’s hard for me to get out
00:58 It's a GREAT idea to show a sketch of the rig. Thanks Matt..
Thank for revisiting your old rocking fishing spots. I’m sure we all miss it.😊

A great way to cut down on the snags when fishing from shore. Shrimp flys baited with squid would be good too.
Looked good !! Even with the small fish it looked like it was plenty of food. Wish I could walk and climb again, I see so many good-looking spots along the coast!
Much love I’ll have to try this recipe.. if I lived in the area I’d come hoop🙏

great place to cook Matts
Nice video !
Loving your recent shore fishing videos! Boating videos are great but I, and I suspect most of your viewers, do not have access to a boat. Great job!
Dope! More Asian wok cooking. Try shark tacos.
You're a beast when you measure fish with a Compass!
Oh deliciousness🥰
Flourocarbon for rockfish ... measuring the legnth of a fish 2" at a time with a transit compass ... using a pocket knofe to filet a fish ... that's jumping the shark
Dinner looked good
I bought exactly the same fish finder two yrs ago, which worked only for two months.

Me cook chicken and fish the same way you did right there. Delicious 🤣
Let my man Calvin bring one in
