I have never seen a more perfect example of character assassination in my life. The writers of Game of Thrones could probably watch this commercial and say to themselves: "Well, at least we didn't f#@k up that badly."
But the thing that really solidified it was later in the movie when they're sailing over lava, and Cody goes out of his way to sabotage Tank, which, in case you've seen the first movie which these writers CLEARLY did not, is the thing that Tank does to other surfers because he is THE VILLAIN.
I really hope that Surfs Up 3 will have these things 1. NO WWE STARS 2. The Return of Big Z 3. Cody not being a jerk and remembered his lesson from The First Movie 4. Spider-Verse Animation 5. Good Compeling Story 6. RELEASING THE MOVIE IN THEATERS INSTEAD OF DVD
Spiderverse style animation might be a little unfitting for Surf's Up compared to the first one's 3D animation but the rest of the points are Kino, as today's kids would say

To be fair, the two you mentioned are sequels to respected movies. If they were standalones, they wouldn't be as hated. Wish is a standalone and it is pretty difficult to hate it on the same level when there is no previous Wosh to compare it to.

The second rant he made was "why Super Mario Bros 1993 and modern SML is not mario" explaining the flanderisation of mario in both of these media. First, he talked about the super Mario Bros movie which featured the late bob Hoskins (known for playing Eddie from "who framed rogger rabbit"), John Leguizamo (known for voicing Sid in the ice age trilogy (especially the god awful collision course) And the late Dennis hopper. The original production of this film was going to feature Danny devito as mario and tom hanks as Luigi and going to be more (or if not, trying) close to the original super mario games. Unfortunately due to to change of plans of the movie and some actors had some failed movies at the time, it was scrapped. And bizarrely, Nintendo wanted the mario movie to be made after the success of TMNT movies, they decided to make the film, however it's the one we have today (not the super Mario Bros movie from illumination which like sonic movie, was a hit). And for Super Mario Logan, since Jeffy came along to the series, it was good from the start, but then went downhill since allegations between Logan and the channel despite having to make many channels including Super Luigi Logan & Super Bowser Logan which all of them has been taken down due to RUclips guidelines Which one time in one video Jeffy hung himself due to him not getting a game he had and one kid saw his video and did the same thing which resulted him in a huge controversy and ended up at good morning USA, (or another channel). After Nintendo saw the SML RUclips channel, they got offended because of the use of their character and from then on, they have to use their own puppets and rechanging characters names (including Mario into Marvin). And to wrap it up. Modern SML is either dead or just cringe to watch. And the Super Mario Bros 1993 film is so bad it's funny.
Surf's Up is one of SPA's best, and WWE was enjoyable even during it's golden age in the 90s-early 2000s, but I'd take Rumble over Surf's Up 2 Wavemania. It gets worse when Schaff reaches the 11th layer of Hell that is Megamind 2 The Doom Syndicate(the tenth tier was Cats 2019).
Even as someone who doesn’t follow WWE, the thought of them making all the WWE characters in this movie/commercial flat so as to avoid depicting them negatively seems… odd. Like, correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the whole point of that show was that it’s got something resembling a narrative in which some wrestlers are supposed to be good guys (“faces”) and others are supposed to be bad guys (“heels”)? And aren’t there some who even switch their orientations in that regard? For some reason it seems to me like those characters could’ve been more interesting if they had actually taken cues from that show’s format as opposed to just advertising it.

@@masterseal0418 I do watch DED6 Rant videos on Family Guy, Batman & Robin, and not to mention the 2 hour rant he made of the omnikings where he ranted at omnikings Brayden, piplup & ender for bullying his group channel Super origami kingdom (which unfortunately most videos has been removed due to allegations of "Tamatoagamingda" where he drew some art of some underaged person and the group channel decided to remove him completely.
Talking about the super origami kingdom, remember when they made a rant of ice age collision course, that rant involved 5 members and explained how they get things wrong in the movie. If I saw ice age collision course, I will suffer from death.
Edit: also, tamatoagamingda (who got terminated off RUclips due to what happened) made 2 rants of the channel: 1 was "why sausage party is an absolute penis hell" where he moans on how the movie was distribing, cruel, and violent despite being an adult film. Which to be fair in my mind looks like the inspiration of a movie called "foodfight" and yeah. But I think some people prefer to watch foodfight than this.
The second rant he made was "why Super Mario Bros 1993 and modern SML is not mario" explaining the flanderisation of mario in both of these media. First, he talked about the super Mario Bros movie which featured the late bob Hoskins (known for playing Eddie from "who framed rogger rabbit"), John Leguizamo (known for voicing Sid in the ice age trilogy (especially the god awful collision course)
And the late Dennis hopper. The original production of this film was going to feature Danny devito as mario and tom hanks as Luigi and going to be more (or if not, trying) close to the original super mario games. Unfortunately due to to change of plans of the movie and some actors had some failed movies at the time, it was scrapped. And bizarrely, Nintendo wanted the mario movie to be made after the success of TMNT movies, they decided to make the film, however it's the one we have today (not the super Mario Bros movie from illumination which like sonic movie, was a hit). And for Super Mario Logan, since Jeffy came along to the series, it was good from the start, but then went downhill since allegations between Logan and the channel despite having to make many channels including Super Luigi Logan & Super Bowser Logan which all of them has been taken down due to RUclips guidelines Which one time in one video Jeffy hung himself due to him not getting a game he had and one kid saw his video and did the same thing which resulted him in a huge controversy and ended up at good morning USA, (or another channel). After Nintendo saw the SML RUclips channel, they got offended because of the use of their character and from then on, they have to use their own puppets and rechanging characters names (including Mario into Marvin). And to wrap it up. Modern SML is either dead or just cringe to watch. And the Super Mario Bros 1993 film is so bad it's funny.
Surf's Up is one of SPA's best, and WWE was enjoyable even during it's golden age in the 90s-early 2000s, but I'd take Rumble over Surf's Up 2 Wavemania.
It gets worse when Schaff reaches the 11th layer of Hell that is Megamind 2 The Doom Syndicate(the tenth tier was Cats 2019).
The tenth layer is probably Dear Evan Hansen (2021) for Schaff, as he hates that more than Cats.
Even as someone who doesn’t follow WWE, the thought of them making all the WWE characters in this movie/commercial flat so as to avoid depicting them negatively seems… odd. Like, correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the whole point of that show was that it’s got something resembling a narrative in which some wrestlers are supposed to be good guys (“faces”) and others are supposed to be bad guys (“heels”)? And aren’t there some who even switch their orientations in that regard? For some reason it seems to me like those characters could’ve been more interesting if they had actually taken cues from that show’s format as opposed to just advertising it.
