if i'm the one who makes my products myself how do i calculate my labor cost?

Deverol James decide an hourly rate for yourself and then divide that by the number of products you produce per hour ie. I want to make $20 per hour I make four products per hour the labour cost is $5.

Well you can start by charging yourself a salary and you should know how many hours it takes and cost you to produce a unit of something hence its cost of production in terms of manufacturing that is.

Hi there, how much profit should there be charged when it comes to wholesale? 10%, 20%, 30%... etc?

dear friends, there is no answer as easy as that. this percentage of margin depends on some variables such as; competition, demand and sustainability. Research more.

How much profit you can make will depend on your consumer price which effectively controls your wholesale price. It does not matter whether you sell directly to consumers or not, you need to estimate and "sell in" your suggested consumer price to retailers.

@@SocalandBeyond Ideally the best way to find out is to ask your clients what kind of cost price would they be comfortable with, of course the higher the number of clients the better the average price.

This is a ridiculous presentation, retail vs wholesale needed to be compared as both have pros and cons.

Just wonderful, I have been researching "do wholesalers buy from manufacturers?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Ponichael Bewildering Preeminence - (should be on google have a look )? It is an awesome one of a kind product for finding genuine wholesale designer goods minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate got excellent results with it.
