    Girl I don't know what you talking about! I have watched no less than 15 tutorials and you are the ONLY one that gave any real information. So stop saying you don't explain well...heck you've explained more than most so in my humble opinion, you are the G.O.A.T.!!!! Thank you 🤩

    I know I am late viewing this vid but I appreciate your realness in your delivery in this video. I currently and building my business as a braider, and while I am skilled, I felt some type of way when I found myself struggling with feed-ins, or what it is generally referred to as the ghana cornrow. I felt like I wasn't a good braider, but you said that you will not be the best at this technique in the beginning so you have to have the mindset of working at. I appreciated you saying that because people think cause you a braider, ALL braiding styles should come natural and it doesn't. This encouraged me to not give up in my craft. Thank you!

    In the 80s I was doing hair before the Africans got here with the hair thing! My braiding game was fierce!! Anyway, I can’t stand it now! However, I’m watching you braid and it’s crazy how your fingers go! 😳I never seen nothing like it before and I’ve been around a long time braiding. You’re feeding braid is neat and beautiful.!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾I’m trying to learn this style for my daughter and yours is one of the best. Thank you for sharing. And you’re exactly on point about every style does not fit everyone’s face or hair style to look the same as that picture! OMG!! And I used to express that all the time and my clients did not get it. Some of them anyway. Keep sharing that information. And thanks again.

      Renee Eddy aww, thank you so much for sharing that!!! Yeah, it’s pretty weird how my fingers go, lol, i try to do it the other way and my feed ins never come out as good, go figure lol, and I’m sooooo glad my video is helping you to learn for your daughter! I’m always glad to hear my videos are beneficial!!! I appreciate you for supporting and watching my channel!!! God bless you 😘❤️❤️❤️

I started braiding when i was a child as well, of course dolls and stuff, but i started doing actual human heads at 9 years old, and i actually did not want to do hair, but what God has for you will be for you, and so I’m very grateful for my gift, so what I’m saying is, take that gift and appreciate it and go far with it. Continue on pushing with that gift, so by the time you’re 18, or even 16, I’ll be watching YOU on TV lol and yes boo i Braid super weird it’s crazy lol thank you soooooo much for watching and supporting and i pray you go far in life 😘😘

    I wish I knew about your channel 4 yrs ago when I working at xtension xpress. I have a cosmo license but I needed a job so I took the braider position with no clue what I was doing . I thought to my self how hard can straight back braids be? I came a long way since then but I love how u explain the rationale as to why you do them this way. You have a new subscriber. I did my daughters hair today and it came out nice at least for me. I’m not a braider but you inspire me to take it more seriously

    OK... I knew parting was important. I am Latin but grew up around the Aferican American Culture, my best friend taught me how to French braid way back when, I just simply saw her hand movement and I caught on. I currently am trying to do my niece's hair, I'm trying to see how you get those edges so good. You start off with so little hair you make it look fantastic. I wanna do that. I've been looking at several U Tube videos today, I've learned a lot. My Sister in law keeps telling me that I dont understand "a blacks women's hair" because I've been doing my niece's, I've been noticing in every video I've seen today they are adding a hair product, my sister in law gives me this little bit of oil to use. I know I need something else cause when you all are going through the hair it's not hard to fight through. My brother is biracial his wife is not my niece has some thick hair, can you please suggest a soften hair product. Love your braiding. Thanks for the tips on parting and how it takes time and patience. Need to know how to make my niece's hair soft. Yea her own mom doesn't know how to do her hair. PLEASE HELP

    Your method dope af! I know you don't like voice overs, but knowing what fingers are doing what would help my grip game on the feed ins! I see how I'm holding my hands all wrong! Reply to me or post a video with how to position your fingers pretty please! I'll pay you for a virtual 1 on 1 frfr! Thanks for sharing your gift! God bless!

      Hey boo!! I don’t do voice overs like that because i am HORRIBLE at explaining things, that’s why i rather y’all watch the video. However, i use all of my fingers, literally, and most people don’t even use more than their index fingers 🥺

    I understand your finger placement/ movement. Most braiders braid using their pointer finger as the pincher. U use your middle finger as the pincher. There have been times when I use my middle finger as the pincher or grabber it's a preference. It gets the job done either way. Looks good to me.

    To do the stich braids try parting out the small sections before you begin braiding that's how I learn now I don't have to part out the sections.

    • @divaaBee
      @divaaBee  6 лет назад +3

      Nicole Smalls thank you for that boo!! It’s crazy, because i HAVE tried that method soooooo many times and my hands just DO NOT DO NOT cooperate with it at all 😩😩 lol i will definitely try it again though boo

    • @tameikarose

      When I first started braiding I would practice on my daughter and I had to use the comb to scoop/slick the hair up my fingers couldn't grasp right. I hated the separated/spaced look I thought people could tell couldn't braid and would try to comb the hair up into the braids when I was finished and now people actually want that look...lmao

  • @shawknette
    @shawknette 6 лет назад +5

    • @divaaBee
      @divaaBee  6 лет назад +3

      shawknette lol i know right the way i Braid is crazy i try sooooo hard to do the actual method and it’s always a no go so i be like fuck it lol and thank you soooooo much boo

    • @shawknette

      divaaBee I braid by feeding the hair under... but imma work on your style to see what I like most lol

      shawknette girl i wish i could feed under lol

    • @shawknette
      @shawknette 6 лет назад +3

      divaaBee I think where I struggle is when my client don't blow dry their hair straight... they want the slick look but have thick coarse hair. I tell them that the braiding don't match the texture of their hair so the braid will look off and ugly lol 🤦🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️
