Thank you for the stream! I wanted to ask, is it okay to create two profiles for my wife and me? My wife has a score of 498, and we missed the cutoff of 480. We are both in Ontario and have over 1 year of experience in software engineering. However, I have a bachelor's degree, and she has a master's. So, my score would be 10 points lower, and I'm a bit older. Both of us have an IELTS score of 8, but I never created a profile for myself; only my wife has one, as her score is higher. The general cutoff is 525, so we are both lower and higher than the cutoff at the same time.

Hello Kubeir..... I have gave my biometrics at a Visa Application Centre on 18th March... but it still has not reflected on my EE profile. It still states "Your Action is Required". 8 full days have now passed, and there is a validity period of 1 month within which this should be completed.. After applying PGWP in Canada i traveled to India for 3 months .and Got diagnosis with infection leading towards Tuberculosis of lymph NON CONTAGOUS (not in lungs as asked in forms on ircc applications). then got back to canada got workpermit approved. got health card and saw doctors here done through diagnosis again found similar results. treatment was optional as doctor suggested. but i choose to get treatment for 6 months. no i am 2 months far from my completion of treatment. and 1 month far from 1 year experience for CEC under skill trade category based application. now can i apply? or would it be misrepresentation for not notifying ircc for TB while process PGWP application. or i simply apply EE and then explain while submitting file.
Hello dear. Our application was approved in october 2023, our passports have the Canadian visa for work and study. I will study at a college for two-year program. Does that mean my husband will get his open work permit at the port of entry with no issues even thought we will travel after March 19th? Thanks in advance

Hi Kubeir! Happy Holi! Thank you for insightful videos. I've a question- I've worked for 2 companies in past 1 year for CEC. In first company it was 2 months exp, and other company 10 months and which is still ongoing. If I receive ITA and after some time I am able to claim CRS points from just my 2nd company only, is it possible to remove exp of 1st company with 2 months of exp and mention in personal history? In a dilemma, that after getting ITA can one remove exp from work history to personal history given that by the time I submit PR application CRS score is still same?
yes you can make these changes, as long as you have 12 months of work experience at the time of application submission

Love your videos.I have done my 2 years Masters from DU, 3 years graduation from DU after my 12tyear of education with CBSE It has been considered as Post Graduate Diploma by WES.
Have you experienced that a 17 years of education which means 12 years of CBSE 3 years of graduation and 2 years of Masters is considered as masters in ECA by any evaluating agency like IQAS, ICAS etc.
For Ontario's HCP tech category, is it necessary for the NOC (work experience) to be related to our education? Or can they be unrelated?

In my study & work visa, I have shown my Indian experience with the job title as "Associate Technical Consultant" for 2.5 years. This job title is not as per NOC req but my job responsibilities are as per software developer, will the job title "Associate Technical Consultant" work for the EE/OINP Tech draw profile or should I change it to "Software developer" as per NOC req during my profile creation? Can I add 3-4 more job responsibilities than shown in my study & work visa?
Job title doesn't matter as long as your responsibility matches with NOC code. The job title which I showed on my ref letter wasn't even matching with any of the titles in my noc code and yet I got my eCOPR recently. Disclaimer: I’m not a consultant

Applied for OINP job offer: international student stream on March 25, get a confirmation email, many tell me I can now apply for BOWP, but I don’t believe I can until I get the nomination letter, certificate and work permit supporting letter! Am I right or they are right?
Can we apply for SOWP extension along with Student PGWP after graduation if student has an employer offer? or do we need to wait for 2-3 pay stubs before applying for SOWP extension? can we use the coop pay stubs (they are from the same employer who gave the job offer)?

I recently found that when my agency applied for study permit in Oct 2019 they included my work history only up to May 2019. But i was working until Sep 2020 (My classes got differed to Sep 2020 due to the pandemic). Can I claim points for my work experience from June 2019 to Sep 2020. I have mentioned this work experience in my PGWP.

Will the spousal open work permit get rejected if no recent pay stub is provided? Even though the employment verification states that i am actively employed, i have shown more than 20K in funds plus my spouse business in my home country. We have been in relationships for a total of 8 years and also provided sufficient proof and got married recently. Please, any advice. The only reason i couldn't provide a recent pay stub is due to medical leave on LTD.

My question is me and my spouse both studied here and both have PGWP expiring end of this year. If I will enrol for study again and choose to go in college with diploma program, will my spouse be eligible for SOWP? As we both are in canada. created EE as spouse non-accompany. Got NOI under the OINP Tech draw. Can I change my OINP profile to a spouse accompany after receiving NOI? if not then can I change my EE profile to a spouse accompany after receiving 600 points?

I have worked 11 months in NOC 62100, and now got the job offer from NOC33103 (Which is part of Health care category). Which make 12 months in total.
Considering that I can create my EE profile after 1 year of NOC B work. I can mentioned on that profile that working for 2nd job in EE profile.
Once I completed my 6 months working for that job. Does my profile be picked automatically after completion of 17 months (11 + 6).
Or I have to create 2nd profile.
I think your profile will be picked in Health Care Category Draw once you complete 6 months... That's what happened with me and my friend though in Transport category. Disclaimer: I’m not a consultant

Again, so I just have to mention in my EE and after 6 months completion. Once Healthcare draw occurs, i will get ITA provided I meet CRS score.

During the time of submitting my EAPR, I paid all my credit card dues thus I did not separately mention my credit card accounts details in the POF section. After submitting, I paid using one of my credit card, there are dues which I am gradually paying off.
My POF is kept in a separate bank account in which I do not have any credit card DUES - I submitted Solvency Certificate 6 ,Months Bank Statements as proof.
Received Medicals and Biometric letter on February. Everything complete in tracker (Including 3 parameters of BCG, confirmed it with IRCC agent over call. Wife was asked to do a sputum test thus waiting for results.
My concern is that the fact that I didn't disclose my credit card account details - will IRCC see this as something negative.

i had made a mistake at the Express Entry profile creation stage by selecting same value "One-year program..." for both foreign and canadian euivalency fields
Now if i correct it will it be a problem/misrepresentation ?

Hi Kubeir, My job descriptions match 10010, which is why I am using that as my primary NOC, but my median wage and designation match 11101 (I have international experience in both NOC's). Which NOC should I then use while applying for OINP FWS since my JD matches one and wage matches the other?

Currently working as a Chemical technologist and technician (NOC 22100) at a domestic vegetable oils and livestock products company, since 2022. PGWP expiring in June 2024 [CRS = 444].
I intend to acquire an Ontario Water Wastewater (OWW) Certification to improve my employability/PR prospects.
1. Can I count this certification towards the 50 points for "certificate of qualification from a Canadian province", under Express Entry draws?
2. Further, wastewater management/water sample handling accounts for about 20% of my work, majority related to testing of oil samples and instrument calibration. Would it be a problem to justify the need for having this certification if I receive the ITA, as the certificate is required only for 20% of my job, not the majority of the work?
3. The updated OWW website states that an Operator-in-Training (OIT) certificate or license is "not considered a qualification certificate for skilled trades applications for permanent residency." - How does this affect my eligibility to claim the 50 points?

Nobody can predict the draws but STEM draws will happen in the future.

Your long terms course must have it stated as pre-requisite or else you risk a refusal
But the programs which have pre requiste requirements are very limited. Hence it is very difficult to find such a program .@@AskKubeir

My PGWP will expire on May 5, 2024. I have a job STEM job in Ontario and I don't want to lose this great job just because of this stupid government's no PGWP extension policy.
My OINP application was approved last Friday, awaiting ITA.
My company already explored LMIA option and can't proceed as they don't have enough logic to prove my candidacy.
What's the best option to continue to work legally? Should I apply for a fake work permit extension with an explanation that my PNP is approved, or wait for ITA instead?

Recently SOWP approved. My Outland spouse got visitor and permit expiry is same as mine in July 2024. Shouldn’t her visitor visa expiry same as her passport expiry OCT 2033 ?
No, even with my spouse it was same as my pgwp expiry date.

If your contract is permanent without the end date, you could ask your employer to put this statement in an employment letter. That worked for me. Disclaimer: I’m not a consultant
You may still proceed but hope n pray that the officer ignore the missing requirement of 1 year after PR.

You can claim 50 points for job offer within the validity of the LMIA or within the validity of the closed work permit (applied on the basis of the LMIA)

your work experience of 6 months must be continuous, there can be no gaps - for category based draws.

I am yet to create an EE profile. I have 5 years of IT experience back home. I am currently working as a General Labour in Canada. I have few questions regarding my current situation.
1. If i am eligible under ONIP tech category , can i submit my General labour offer letter and paystubs as my financial statement / proof of funds($13k as per IRCC)
2. As far as my IT experience is concerned, i have my offer letter and my last 6 months paystubs. The offer letter is more of a generic letter from an MNC and doesn’t specify any roles and responsibilities . Is this enough to validate my Indian experience.
Please advise me on this. Thanks in advance.
To validate Indian exp you will need to have a reference letter which will give all the details about job and you can attach OF & paystubs.

you will be fine - as long as both those NOCs were invited.

at least one year of cumulative paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) in Canada in TEER Category 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the NOC
Your work experience must have been:
obtained within the last three years from the date of submitting your application to the OINP
in one or more of the occupations that you identified in your Express Entry profile
in Canada while maintaining legal status in Canada
Cumulative means:
the work you’ve done must add up to one year - it does not have to be one year of continuous work
